I freaking hate the new voices Pokemon USA has, Ever since Ash had the new voice, It' Killed the original Ash Ketchum.

Like for instance.

Veronica Taylor's good script.

And this is Sarah's Crap line.

Nah, Pikachu prefers to be out here "When My Shoulders Much more fun"

The one in the brackets, can you imagine how fucked up that line is?

Pokemon USA did look into having Veronica do it, but she was still under contract with 4kids, and 4kids doesn't allow their voice actors to do work with other companies.

It's been pointed out many times though that other actors that worked ont he 4kids dub have done voice work for the PUSA version.

That is correct, I believe Gary's voice actor was one of them, but that was because they broke away from their contract, it's been stated in a different video, I think.

Unfortunately, Maddie Blaustein passed away in December (I think) so naturally she can't return. And Veronica didn't continue. It was sort of a "all of us or none of us" thing from what I understand, at least with Rachel, Eric, Maddie, and Veronica.

While the original voice actors, especially Rachael Lillis, Eric Stuart and Maddie Blaustein (R.I.P.) were much better, I'd still have to say that Sarah isn't that bad. Sure, Veronica is better, but seriously, it's not THAT big of a deal. On the other hand, after the first season the show started going a bit downhill anyway...

The show is still fairly good, but the only thing I really hate is Brock's new voice. Other than that, I don't care.

Apparently now Rachael is doing the voice of one of the Sinnoh gym leaders, Maylene. What doesn't make sense to me is, if it's possible to have her work with the show again - why not have her reprise her old roles? I really hope that if Jigglypuff does make an appearance again, it's her voice still.. >_>

If Jigglypuff appears again, PUSA will probably just take her voice out of already recorded clips and not pay the actor for their use. That's what they did for the video games. PUSA = greedy.

Are ALL of the original Pokemon voice actors different now? I noticed that Brock sounds like he has laryngitis or constipation, and James and Meowth sounds a bit odd too. So does Jessie. Whay would the producers of Pokemon give this great series such a drastic makeover? I LOVE the original voices!!!
