mine used to shut off at random times too.. i was running a 3s.. and it was just over heating.. i switched my batteries back to 2s.. and has never shut off again. i have a tekkin esc

i think that the traxxas bfg's are about the worst crawler tire ever. they are way to hard

@modernlane no it is not water proof but its very easy to waterproof and is a graet truck i drove iv threw two 2inchs of water no problem but the the esc radio and servo the only thing you have to water proof and it easy

the axial is overheating it probably ha a heat shut off if it gets to hot it shuts off
