There's this program on the internet somewhere, that you download and use on your computer to create the quests. You would need custom firmware for your Psp though, to use the quests from what I understand. You're supposed to patch them over other downloaded quests and then you can play them.

That's all I really know.

I know for sure mine was the Sea King Gunlance, but the armor was Death Stench(?) for the waist and hands, Silver Sol for the Helm/Chest/Legs.

As for the others, I don't remember quite that well, but I believe these were the outfits:

Any of the "Custom Quests" are not in any of the games, because they were created by another person, edited to how they saw fit for a quest.

Indeed, but right now the closest we'll get to it, is if we use the small arena and like, have like, 10 possible deaths or something, have a lot of cats throwing bombs in there, and the players try to "fight" in there, even though it's not going to do damage...

Now if only they had kept the gunner's "Cluster" shot damage from the ps2...

Either that or go play on Frontier, which has PvP. (Kinda) :D

Well, since the PS2 days, I've used Lance for melee and Light Bowgun for Gun.

Since then, I've kinda just adjusted to everything, at the exception of gun lance, it just doesn't feel right for me yet, so whenever I'm using it, I'm mostly messing around, sometimes GS or Hammer at times.

Skills wise as a gunner though, I HATE using adrenaline, Monster Hunter is supposed to be "Hunting the monster" not "kill it as fast as you can."

Well, of all the time I've played in custom quests, I've yet to see any Lao edits... I honestly have no idea as to what can be changed.

Not cheat bombs, as I've put in the video comment and replied to others, it's a "type" of bomb that you get from trading tickets to the veggie elder.

I don't know the actual name of it, but I've always called it Polytan bombs, since the picture of it looks like another hammer.

"Baby monsters" are just custom created quests with size modified monsters.

"Dummy" bombs are just Lighting Rods but you choose when to set them off.

For Online play, Check out "Xlink Kai" and download that.

Chameleos horn can be cut with dragon element weapon.

Use bomb throwing Felyne Comrade to make it drop shiny.

Its head will look like a mongrel if it is hornless.

Well, I really wasn't trying to kill it at all, was messing around actually, you can tell since I was just crawling around or whatever.

Also, I figured the weapon I had wasn't good enough for Cham anyways, and they could kill it just them 3.

Besides, I had a feeling someone would start a fight at one point or another, so taking gunlance would work.

Well, he's not online on the internet, i know him in real life though... he can't play online, so he just makes quests instead for us (namely him, I, and a few close friends.)

Do you play online? I have a few customs someone else made for me on mhf2, but I've been unable to contact them.

Also, if you were to ask if you can get them also, (quests) I don't know how as to how you can, since he edited my save data and put it on there.

Well, Xlink Kai is your best option to try and use, unless you are able to find ways to locate people who live near you and also play the game or want to wait for MH Unite to come out and then get a ps3 for online play.

If you don't have a wireless router, then you can use Wifimax to get a wireless signal for you psp, but if you have a wireless router, then there are guides floating around the web that tell you step by step on setting it up to allow your psp to find your wireless router and Xlink kai.

You can check on the Xlink Kai website, and then over in the PSP Forum where there's offical Xlink Kai guides for setting up for XP and Vista.

Yes, it's possible, you simply have to download Xlink Kai for the computer, where you then use a wireless adapter for your psp to connect to, use a guide to set up the program to your psp and adapter, and then you can play.

I've seen some video guides that show you step by step how to get it all set up here on youtube. It'll take a little time, but once it's done it'll be worth it.

As I have said before, you could have checked the other comments since someone already asked that, but since no one ever looks before asking...

Well, if you can get Yellow "Dummy" tickets, though Japanese downloaded quests, then you should get at least 1 or so. If not, try another download quest until you can find one that gives them. After that, simply take any of the yellow tickets to a Veggie Elder and trade for them.

well, you really don't need custom firmware...

Find someone with JUMP Teo quests or a custom quest made, join if you can and see if they give dummy tickets.

Unless the person who has the custom quest already has Polytan bombs put in the quest as a reward item or in the box, you need yellow dummy tickets to trade to the veggie elders so you can get the bombs.

well, seems like you're kinda stuck there...

Polytan bombs are just like the lighting rods, but you can set them off when you want, so it's not that big of a deal to get them.

If anything, you can try and get Xlink Kai set up so you can play online and get some tickets for the bombs.
