  • What kind of Transmitter (remote) would i need? i have a Firebird commander 2 and i dont know if the transmitter i already have would work or not

  • @benduvall1

If you're going to stay in the hobby, you can start with a 2.4 Ghz transmitter with receiver for about $25 from Hobbyking. It's a good cheap beginner radio and you can buy additional receivers for about $9 so you can use the same transmitter for a few models. If you can afford it, get a better quality Spektrum w/ receiver for $99 (DX5e) or $199 (DX6i). The Firebird Commander TX/RX system isn't worth ripping out to put into a slow flyer ARF model like the GWS J3 Cub.

  • Thanks for watching. It was cold but after the fingers get the frostbite it doesn't feel cold and in fact can't feel anything at all, LOL!

  • nice. I gotta say you are a dedicated flier...Looks nice, but gotta be freezing.
