I recognized his talent at a young age; mentored him in every aspect of the business, from how to handle and structure his business, to musical direction, production, and band management. This was not arbitrary, this was an investment. I have never, ever met such a cold, vicious, impersonator of a human being in my life. A faker, coming off like a cherub, a master of clever manipulation and twisting of information, played me. I never saw it coming.
