so ive just overcloked the e6600 from 2.4ghz to 2.8ghz (max for my ddr2) and

an awsome 953 ,1003,1906 for the gts 450 and goes from 24 fps max

settings to 38-40 fps max settings with drops to 28 fps

so the thing is solved,,, this game needs more procesing power than graphics

gts 450 with the same speeds 3gb of ram and a core 2 duo e6600 and y can only playit on medium or low and y get only 40 50 fps with struttering

im playing 1280x1024 and its no problem with my pc y run metro 2033, and dirt 2 ,crysis, dirt 3 on ultra high with 40 fps without dropping

@UmF6aWVsTXR6 well that does not seem to make any sense cause intell 3000 on a i5 seems like it would be able to run everything on at least low settings or at least medium, im not sure what to say to that, only thing i can think of is check your ram speed or maybe the graphics have a hardware error and nothings telling you. other than that im kinda out of any ideas maybe the game just cant run on that laptop in genral, i wish i could be more help but i dont know what els to say

Can I ask, are you using an xbox controller with your pc? Does the controller automatically change the interface of the game so that it says 'press X' instead of the keyboard command? nice video and card man! but for the "can you run it'' site i don't agree with you,it's really not accurate it gives false results sometimes, i reach the minimum recommended for crysis with a poor 9500gs while the 8800GT (minimum for this game) is a much faster card.:) Btw i'm gonna get a gts 450 i think but i don't know if i should get the msi cyclone version or this Palit

@hitmanino81 thanks dude, but yea i know what you mean by the site thing... really all it is is a rough estimate i think but it might be better than someone els just guessing but i do know some stuff so when i do help people out im not just guessing i do have a good idea about what i am talking about. and i would stick with palit gts 450 that just my opinion on that. because thats what i have just the basic one and still runs everything great on high settings. it has not disappointed me yet.

@footballstar0325 the msi is slightly faster and runs cooler,but this palit is cheaper and has a vga port ready to use,its good for me cuz i have a vga monitor 1680x1050 and i don't want to use a dvi to vga adapter like with the cyclone..anyway both are a great upgrade for me it's just what i need,i just hope it's gonna work well on my simple rig,i have a Quad core Q9300 @ 2.5, 4 G ram ddr2 ,packard bell mobo with a Pci express x16 and a corsair cx 400w Psu,you think i'll be fine?

@hitmanino81 my only concern is making sure your power suply is good enough and make sure you have the correct slots to put the card in. you do have a big screen but i do not think it will make a huge diff. but other than that you should be good.... what graphics are you running now?

@footballstar0325 my actual card is an nvidia 9500GS 512 mb,it's a crappy card:/ most recent games are running with low framerates so i have to upgrade!

my Psu is a true rated 80+ 400w corsair i think it will do just fine,but my motherboard is the weak point and i'm affraid i'll have issues because of it,it's not a gaming mobo..it has a Pci express 1.0,and the bios is a little old (2008) anyway some people told me i'll be fine cuz the GTS 450 is a mainstream card,i really dunno :/

@yamum9547 yes i am sure you can handle and game you throw at it. i found this site that will tell you if you can or not ... system requementirs lab i would pick crysis 2 for the game of choice to tell weather or not you can run it. just google "system requementirs lab"

@RedSniper108 yes that would be more than enough to play games like this, right now your computer is better than mine im only at 2.7 ghz and only a dual core. so i am plenty sure that you pc will be able to run everything on high performance without a problem.

It is built around microsoft microsoft supports xbox controles for the computer just plug a wired xbox usb controler into a computer and turn on a microsoft windows game and then all setting will switch to console controle. I have dual-core cpu 2.7 ghz... but when you have that card it does not make a big difference what processor you have because at least the one i have has 192 core processors with 1.25 gigs of ram. my cousin has a 2.2 ghz dual core with gt 220 and can run just as good as mine can. with only a little tuning to his settings. he has a crappy processor.
