Look up "Chinese Democracy Movement" on Wikipedia and note the reasons for its decline overseas -- in-fighting, losing touch with the reality in China today, and being against anything that's good for China's progress (ie. WTO, Beijing Olympics).
They have just become another Vichy organization, irrelevant to the development of China.
