It's Kassie Jones by Furry lewis. Parts one and two. Furry recorded these August 28, 1928 in Memphis I think for Victor.
Contrary, though not flaming Haveyoumetferris, it is a fairly popular song in the revival movement as it was on Harry Smith's Anthology Of American Folk Music. As well as the fact that it's a remarkable, earth-shattering song.
he showed up to the venue on his bike with a chair, banjo, guitar and violin tied onto his back with rope. haha he rode right in the front door! he and Fleet Foxes: one of the best shows i've ever seen!
Thanks. Unfortunately most everyone talked through his set in Birmingham as well, but luckily the first four or five rows did not, allowing me to get a somewhat clear sound.
what sort of philistine hick would yack on through this ??? going to see him next month.. hopefully there wont be idiots talking there ,,

wow, I've been looking for some video of this guy. He's incredible. I couldn't believe people were talking through his performance.
By the way, I'm the guy with the red shirt at the beginning of the video.

fantastic footage and a better crowd than in Athens, GA. Everyone talked through his set, which was a disappointment.
