  • I am 58 now, and an accomplished Bassist and Guitarist but I'm a sucker for 'good' music in any genre .. The last time I heard this song I had the album ..I was 17 and tried acid for the first time (1971) and this was one of the many albums that helped me have a good Trip lol :))

  • @TheMr262626

You and me both at the inner temple in the west end after the film did some peyote for the first time..never had the same buzz since but what a period in history the '60's represent where did it all go!!!Still get flashbacks now but like you it turned me on to what music can achieve so... been playing drums off and on ever since!!!

  • Sounds like a rip off of `A day in the life - The Beatles` ......but still good.

  • Mike Hugg composed this and most of the music from the film 'Up the Junction'.

  • the ascending harmonies in the chorus are magic, who wrote them ?

  • really glad he didnt star in it, write the theme tune....sing the theme tune :)

  • Not a bad group, Manfred Mann but this song is absolutelu their superhighlight, a gem!

  • Thanks for the post. One of the best soundtracks of all time.

  • @smolarekuk Couldn't agree more bro' lived it,did it,TOP SONG...

  • Good track. I'm just wondering whether to put my vinyl copy of the original soundtrack in the car boot for tomorrow!! I thought I'd check it out here first. Nobody panic It's in poor condition

  • Never saw the film, but this song gives a pretty good idea--not a comedy. Very convincing song. Nobody did the '60's better than Manfred Mann.

  • c'est genial!
