  • 7:30 take it to the top so I can listen to it over and over, thanx :D

  • What kind of harp is Adam playing?

  • who would dislike this?

  • Thank you. KudzuRunner

  • Adam is great.

  • Thank you for sharing.

  • Adam gotta say I love the vocal sound, fits in nicely.

  • Nah, Adam - I like the singing - it has a cool sampled type of feeling to it. Awesome vid.

  • whaaaaaaaoooooooooo !!! magnifique...

  • Wow adam, your rig is OFF THE HOOK...amazing sound...combined with your flawless technique and fat tone , wow...no words to describe your performance on this video.

  • whatever they say!! I love your voice thought i coulnd understand everything you said but still it sounded very well. The fact is that it just doesnt sound like anything i've ever heard!

  • At first I thought that octave pedal was a hammond organ. Really works well! Helps separate out the two harps. Nice work!

  • Any chance to visit Rio de Janeiro for some concerts ??

    -----

I started to like harmonica watching your videos and then, three months ago i bought a C and a G harmonica ( i'm still trying to find my sound around those harmonicas -here we call it "gaita" )

    Thanks for the influence!

  • Outstanding!

  • they did a nice lil tv spot for you guys. usually they wont give ya a full song on the air :) great job!

  • That was great! Thanks Adam and Brandon! Good to see you are getting exposure on TV.

  • pleasure to meet everyone last weekend. big missouri howdy to adam charlie big t dezzy lester debbie deak and sam n everyone else from roosters friday night.sorry if i missed anybody! will post some pics after you tube filters them. thank you everyone i'm in your debt, practicing the basics right now, after getting out of this funk for being humbled from all the pros that blew me away at foxfire.

  • thank you everyone!best time i've had in a long time, have pics of roosters from fri. night.

  • Are you playing superstition on an Ab?

  • @guitarplayer222333: Absolutely! It's an unusual key for blues harp players, but Stevie plays the song in that key and so I kept it there. Because the harp is mostly working the bottom three holes, it gives a meaty sound.

  • It is hard task to accept Adam singin'. But may be one day we will get used to it. Adam bravo!

  • @kiciekoutsider: To paraphrase an old saying: When I'm good, I'm very very good, but when I'm bad, I'm horrid. In this case, I'm not being helped by the sound of my vocals through the mic. The sound guy told me during sound check that it sounded great. He was wrong.

  • I have been following you and learning what you throw at me for the past couple of years and loved seeing you on this, sending out the message. your videos not only teach and help blues harp players. They inspire and bring a whole new flavour to the harmonica. It's a pleasure to go on nearly everyday search through your videos and take tip, tricks and songs to help me expand my skill. You caught me when I was a raw begginer and have built my skill and style up along the way. Thank you Gussow.

  • Great playing guys and what a brilliant T.V showcase for the harmonica and the Hill Country Event!

  • Yeeeaahhhh!!

  • That is good!

  • Wow Adam, I am so happy to see all of this coming together and to see the news cast about it just really touched my heart. I sure wish I could come to this but I just can't this time. Been laid-off for a while. Maybe next year, but until then I ordered more lessons and I will keep practicing. Thanks for everything Adam. You are the reason so many of us are playing. Kevin

  • Kudus to Kudzu!!!!!! Man, that was as thick and meaty as I've EVER heard harp work done.

Adam, you are simply amazing, Thanks for giving it all away...

We all owe you so much.........

    wail on

  • Awesome plug for the harp festival. And awesome playing. Look forward to playing with you on July 3rd at Turning Point. Buzz me or E me when you get to town man.

  • wow that was tight loved it

  • That sounded great. Wish I could make it to this harp retreat. Have fun.

  • Oh yeah baby. Hose them down 'cause they are on fire!

  • Hi Brandon. Excellent stuff. Can you tell me how you can use two inputs to the Akai Headrush? I was thinking about one for the vocal mic and another for a harp mic.

    cheers

  • @tenbarsteam You could use a two female to 1 male phone jack plug. Since the Akai only has one input, you would have to use a splitting plug.

  • great harp dou!

  • Next year I will be attending. Really, wish I could have attended this year. Thanks

  • great adam!

  • why do i live in sweden? this event i would enjoy

  • great stuff Adam.

  • yeeeah :D

  • Nice work guys, and best wishes for the upcoming event, it's gonna wail and moan.

  • You killed it dude! Awesome : )

  • Great work guys...I,m new with harp,but i like this staff )

  • The effect that Brandon Bailey is using sounds freaking amazing. It sounds like an electric piano, but it's a harmonica. And one know what it is?

  • @Hambycomb: Some kind of octave pedal.

  • @Hambycomb Thanks. I'm using a Boss OC-2 Octave pedal.

  • congrats! i enjoyed the music! ur great :D

  • Gone To Main Street!Tune!

  • @TheJackJeremySound: Yes, it began as that tune and I added a verse. I've always called it "Take You Downtown," but I gave them both titles. They used mine.

  • Incredible performance. You two guys are a killer combination. It's rare to hear such technical harmonica playing doing such awesome swing, sound, life and feeling. Great!

  • Adam, I've been playing harp for only a couple of months (a friend on Twitter who plays blues harp put me onto your wonderful videos), and I really wish I could've been there to soak up the atmosphere and hear all these amazing players. You and Brandon sound great - powerful music.
