Anyway I never really liked Hell Bells that much even though it did suit Vegeta's character. It's a pity he had you for such a short time on the show, this theme, you're theme The Dark Prince is your Ace card by far, bought it off Itunes and haven't been able to stop listening to it on my Ipod. 5/5 easily!

@nigahigagreatness lol yes, I saw him every day for a year & a half. He was genius alright, hire some college kids! Get them to...grumble grumble....ok Bruce is a good composer to me (Mike and Julius don't think so). If any 1 person deserves the all praise from, it's Mike Smith. There's music by Bruce yes, but the real thing you should say is "Faulconer Productions". There were four composers: Mike, Julius, myself, and Bruce. Check out "DBZ Music the Lost Credits"

It astounded me when I found out that it was in fact, Julius Dobos who composed some of the greatest themes (SSJ3 ascension, Goku's renewal {unreleased [check out coycoy88]}, etc.} ANd i had no way of knowing who wrote what
@nigahigagreatness Ya Julius scored a big one with the SSJ3 :) But Goku's Renewal Theme (or Goku Revival as I called it) was Mike. Julius didn't start at the studio till the tail end of the Cell Saga. The renewal them goes back to the Frieza Saga when Goku was in that healing chamber and was finally released.

Oh, this is the most awesome soundtrack i ever heard. I only hear this now, never heard before and it is soooooo cool. I never found any soundtrack to be so close to its meaning, this is exactly what Vegeta is. It tell us his power, that he's abandoned, and has nobody to live with, nowhere to live, he lost his entire planet, his people and he's not even the strongest. @Elvorith So true and so much more!! Vegeta has and will always be not only my favorite character from DBZ, but my favorite anime character across the board. I was always so disappointed and angry with how everyone on the show other than Bulma and Goku treated and dismissed Vegeta because of his attitude and his inability/lack of interest in relating to other people. I mean, he had his family, his race, his kingdom, and his planet stolen from him and than he was held hostage and forced

@Usagi393 I agree with you! Goku is noting compared to Vegeta. He had a hard life in every ways, but he still goes on, and that is the part we can say: Vegeta is much more stronger than Goku. Vegeta HAD to live everthing that Goku never, and that makes him stronger. And I remember, that Goku never defeated Vegeta: when he came to Earth, he was defeated because of YAI. He cut his tail. But if he didn't do that, Vegeta would kill Goku. So our opinions are similar :D And thanks for the comment! ^^
@Elvorith Haha, true, Goku has technically never defeated Vegeta. If Yajirobe never cut his tail, Vegeta would have crushed Goku to death. And their first fight ended up being a stalemate, with both Goku and Vegeta retreating, so no one won that one. Their second fight during the Buu Saga was interrupted and put on hold because Goku was too distracted with Buu running around to fight Vegeta, so he agreed to stop the fight. Vegeta did knock Goku out when he wasn’t paying attention,
@Elvorith but I think Vegeta did that because he knew he was going to die fighting Buu and he didn’t want Goku stopping him or interfering; it had nothing to do with their fight. I hated when Goku went back to the Other World and didn’t even ask King Yemma about Vegeta, he just asked about Gohan! Really, Goku?! He gave his life to save the Earth and you aren’t concerned at all about Vegeta? What kind of super hero are you supposed to be? >:(

It’s easy to preach about or against something if you have never had to experience it (Goku), but it’s another thing to actually go through it (Vegeta) Vegeta isn’t going to be the champion of justice that Goku is because life hasn’t been as fair or good to him as it has been to Goku, so it’s difficult for Vegeta to see the good in anything. No, since Vegeta beating up Goku helped him fight Frieza, and his arguably over thought plan (Akira Toriyamo couldn't seem to decide if kid Buu was strong or weaker than Super Buu) killed Kid Buu, and half of him humiliated Super Buu.

they should make a movie in which a still evil vegeta from an alternate timeline comes to the main universe and somehow achieves godly power. We'd get to see a REAL goku vs Vegeta rematch instead of that crap we had in the pink bubblegum man saga, and we'd get to see evil vegeta vs good vegeta.

Dude I just got to say as a die hard Vegeta fan and guitar player myself I just died hearing this. So amazingly wicked!! I love the technique you use when playing this and the leads you play are just absolutely amazing. I already know it's probably far to much to ask for a tab for this, cause I'd love to learn it, but I won't even ask for the tab cause that would be far too time consuming. So I will just sit back and enjoy the awesomeness. Great work man, your an inspiration~!

If they ever do a well made multi-million dollar DB/Z movie you Sir get my vote to score it. You have a way about your music that is pure nostalgia from watching the Faulconer scored DBZ on the cartoon network yet you always bring something new to the table, Futures Sword/Darth Vegeta and all your other work. My hat's off to you Sir.
@draciel80 It's cheaper to use the original music. The guys who hired Faulconer and other composers are no longer with Funimation. I didn't bid for the job either. I don't think I'd have time even if they offered, and I don't think they'd pay enough to compete with my programmer's salary =\ It's one thing to write a few tracks here and there, its a totally different matter to score a couple hundred episodes.

@M0rganstudios Cartoon Network sucks camel dicks anyway! Ever since DBZ ended it went to SHIT along with the other classics you have to watch ONCE a week or late at night. And yeah the economy sucks so they'll reuse soundtracks, although they are sick it'd be cool to incorporate some of your custom mades into it!

Oh, this is the most awesome soundtrack i ever heard. I only hear this now, never heard before and it is soooooo cool. I never found any soundtrack to be so close to its meaning, this is exactly what Vegeta is. It tell us his power, that he's abandoned, and has nobody to live with, nowhere to live, he lost his entire planet, his people and he's not even the strongest. It's sad, but he never stops, always looking forward (having family hahaha)! im obsessed with this music!!! excellent!

@Elvorith So true and so much more!! Vegeta has and will always be not only my favorite character from DBZ, but my favorite anime character across the board. I was always so disappointed and angry with how everyone on the show other than Bulma and Goku treated and dismissed Vegeta because of his attitude and his inability/lack of interest in relating to other people. @Elvorith into slavery on the threat of death for almost 30 years. Did the other characters seriously expect him to be the Mary Poppins that Goku was?! Goku had such an easy life compared to Vegeta, so of course it was easy for Goku to be wonderfully happy and go around spouting peace and justice when he hasn’t really had to experience the same things that left Vegeta cynical about life. @Usagi393 I agree with you! Goku is noting compared to Vegeta. He had a hard life in every ways, but he still goes on, and that is the part we can say: Vegeta is much more stronger than Goku. Vegeta HAD to live everthing that Goku never, and that makes him stronger. And I remember, that Goku never defeated Vegeta: when he came to Earth, he was defeated because of YAI. He cut his tail. But if he didn't do that, Vegeta would kill Goku. So our opinions are similar :D And thanks for the comment! ^^

@Elvorith Haha, true, Goku has technically never defeated Vegeta. If Yajirobe never cut his tail, Vegeta would have crushed Goku to death. And their first fight ended up being a stalemate, with both Goku and Vegeta retreating, so no one won that one. Their second fight during the Buu Saga was interrupted and put on hold because Goku was too distracted with Buu running around to fight Vegeta, so he agreed to stop the fight. Vegeta did knock Goku out when he wasn’t paying attention,

@Elvorith but I think Vegeta did that because he knew he was going to die fighting Buu and he didn’t want Goku stopping him or interfering; it had nothing to do with their fight. I hated when Goku went back to the Other World and didn’t even ask King Yemma about Vegeta, he just asked about Gohan! Really, Goku?! He gave his life to save the Earth and you aren’t concerned at all about Vegeta? What kind of super hero are you supposed to be? >:(

It’s easy to preach about or against something if you have never had to experience it (Goku), but it’s another thing to actually go through it (Vegeta) Vegeta isn’t going to be the champion of justice that Goku is because life hasn’t been as fair or good to him as it has been to Goku, so it’s difficult for Vegeta to see the good in anything. He was "human" I mean "saiyan" - everybody make mistakes, and nobody walks on the perfectly good path. He is not only arrogant, or proud but realistic. These mistakes, and on the other hand, his perfection (tactic skills) makes him what he is. He's a more understandable and more realistic character than anyone else in the story. @Elvorith those feelings can be a good thing because they can motivate us to do great things. Like the Empire State Building and Tokyo Tower. One of the goals of the Empire State was to make it the tallest building in the world (a little arrogant), and Tokyo Tower was constructed to be taller than the Empire and take the title away from America and give it to Japan (a little selfish and prideful.) Everything else is just a delusion for the weak'' is also not entirely true. There is room for other emotions... as long as you have the strength necessary to defend yourself. He learned that from watching Goku's lifestyle. So despite living an incredibly hard life he also learned the wrong life lesson. Poor Vegeta.

No, since Vegeta beating up Goku helped him fight Frieza, and his arguably over thought plan (Akira Toriyamo couldn't seem to decide if kid Buu was strong or weaker than Super Buu) killed Kid Buu, and half of him humiliated Super Buu.

they should make a movie in which a still evil vegeta from an alternate timeline comes to the main universe and somehow achieves godly power. We'd get to see a REAL goku vs Vegeta rematch instead of that crap we had in the pink bubblegum man saga, and we'd get to see evil vegeta vs good vegeta.

I mean the majin vegeta vs goku fight was PRETTY EPIC and though it never captured that ominus evil super powerfull villan role that was filled by freiza/cell, it was still bad ass seeing vegeta and goku team up and then fuse into vegito :)

That is just one of the many many reasons i find the buu saga to be absolutely awful. ginyu gohan. super saiyan toddlers ruining the legend. etc.

Dude I just got to say as a die hard Vegeta fan and guitar player myself I just died hearing this. So amazingly wicked!! I love the technique you use when playing this and the leads you play are just absolutely amazing. I already know it's probably far to much to ask for a tab for this, cause I'd love to learn it, but I won't even ask for the tab cause that would be far too time consuming. So I will just sit back and enjoy the awesomeness. Great work man, your an inspiration~!

You have a way about your music that is pure nostalgia from watching the Faulconer scored DBZ on the cartoon network yet you always bring something new to the table, Futures Sword/Darth Vegeta and all your other work. @draciel80 It's cheaper to use the original music. The guys who hired Faulconer and other composers are no longer with Funimation. I didn't bid for the job either. I don't think I'd have time even if they offered, and I don't think they'd pay enough to compete with my programmer's salary =\ It's one thing to write a few tracks here and there, its a totally different matter to score a couple hundred episodes.

And yeah the economy sucks so they'll reuse soundtracks, although they are sick it'd be cool to incorporate some of your custom mades into it!

@M0rganstudios too bad dbz kai is suffering because of the score. i mean i watched the episode where goku first becomes a super saiyan andthe music falls flat and i think cuts off mid scene and its kind of sucks the power and emotion out of what is basicly the climax of the saga. i mean this is one of the biggest moments that everyone has been waiting for its all been building to this and it fell totally flat!
