  • The disciples(who were all Israelites) were called Christains (Christlike)first in Antioch. Being a Christain is not a religion.

  • @TheElizabeth125 Arguing that Christianity is not a religion is about the same as arguing water isn't wet.

  • I have broken all of Gods commandments. I honestly really do deserve Hell. But by Gods precious redeeming grace I am saved from Hell. God took the punishment upon Himself. Our God is just and there had to be a punishment, and God took it upon Himself. Oh how much I love God and am thankful. Christianity is all about Jesus.

  • what i dont understan is how there is jesus a god and the holy spirit and the father is there three gods or one

    some one please tell me ?

  • why do Apologists say "God cannot lie".... what?? so I can do something God can't that's impossible... God can lie but he knows its wrong to do so, so by his own free will Doesn't ..

  • In the parable of the "prodigal son", I get the idea that the Father never condemned his children. The son didn´t disobey the Father, but rather chose himself to leave him in order to try "free will", to decide himself what was "good and evil". After finding how tough it was to be on his own, he repented, went back, and was gladly received. But he paid for his sins himself.

    Isn´t this a direct contradiction to the story of Adam & Eve?

    Please help me out.

  • @ruffomaldito You are right in saying the prodigal son repented and returned, but he did nothing to pay for his sins, rather - what he wasted was not held against him. He did not deserve to be a son or even received back into the house(and admitted it himself), but his Father did all this for him, what a great picture of Grace. "We know love by this, that while we were still sinners Christ died for us." Adam and Eve could not cover their sin, God provided a covering, and so began redemption.

  • @johnsonquiver -"Adam &Eve could not cover their sin, God provided a covering, and so began redemption."

    Do you mean that God "covers" our sins every time we commit them?

    I don´t think my math teacher would feign he didn´t see my mistakes in the final exam..... Unless "somebody" bribes him (or pays for my pass)...... It would be unfair for me to pass to the next grade without me earning it....I don´t think Jesus was here for that.

  • @johnsonquiver Your concept of "paying for sins" implies a "bribe" to God.

    My concept of "payment for sins" implies a punishment for errors, and it´s carried out by "satan", not God.

  • -_- do people still believe this stuff??

  • @ScientificExploits yeah you are right some things are scintificly wrong on the other hand if you have a look at the muslims holy book you would realyise the scintificly nothing is wrong in it may be you should do what i did and give it a go never know what you might discover if you read every thing

  • @TRiiKzZ1CoD I have never read the Qua-ran, but if it's anything like the bible then i am sure it is filled with scientific inconsistencies. Like the notion that a god exists.

  • @ScientificExploits no not at all just give it ago and belive me untill now perhaps nothing at all in it has been dicoverd to be wrong who know's it could be the right thing fact there are scintific facts in it e.g.

  • @ScientificExploits the quran is full of scintific facts e.g. there is a littile chapter in the quran that minssions that all the universe was a small high dense spot and then it all exploaded which is essentially the idea of the big bang thero that is dicoverd or thought of in the 20th centry on the other hand its mensiond in the quran since the 6th centry and belive me much more

  • @TRiiKzZ1CoD Even if there are facts in the qua-ran, it is still lacking in a base. All scientific facts have an overwhelming base of data from experimentation to back it up. Anouther thing, if something is found incorrect in science, like, lets say a year from now evidence comes about to prove Evolution completely wrong. Scientists would simply dismiss the theory of evolution. While if something is found that disagrees with the things in the Quaran nothing is changed, the words stay in the book

  • @ScientificExploits yeah true evoultion is only THESE DAYS to be proven wrong on the other hand in the quran it clearly says that human or man kind is totaly diffrent from all other type of aimals and it also says that we gave him sence to think and by the way NOT A SINGLE WORD tell today the 21st centry a word in a quran has been scintificly proven wrong a qustion is why how is it from god ?? is this what all humans should be following ?

  • @ScientificExploits First my friend i want to correct a littel mistake you did there the quran NEVER TALKED About the times or when shuold a muslim pray or what time you can check that your self the quran only sayes pray but what the quran sed is to follow what the prophet muhamed says in regards on how to pray and when i.e. god teached muhamed how to pray so for your qustion the propht sed to pray by time and not by looking at sun i.e the colsest country another thing i want to say is that

  • @ScientificExploits another thing i want to say to you is that the quran says that there is no problem and god will forgive you if there is any thing you cant do please read all my two previous comments and i am more than happy to replay to your comments as its part of my religion to help other and am sorry for any spelling mistakes as english is not my first languge

  • @TRiiKzZ1CoD Why should we follow the quran? Is the only evidence for the righteousness of Islam found in the very book on which it was founded?

  • @ScientificExploits why should you follow islam is not because we muslims want you to follow islam so there is a lot of us its becuase once you find the right reliogin then your are not any more like a body that has a brain which dosent think then you will be a person who knows who created him and feel what the word spirtial mean another thing if you are gonna say to me there is no god then

  • @ScientificExploits and say to me there is no god then may be you should think again about the creation of the univers and every thing and think HOW can it happen what was before the big bang what was around the littile high dense thing that exploaded resulting the big bang how is every thing perfectly goin e.g. the nature of electron dualltiy annahlitation planets and moons and astroyids orbiting suns all things CAN NOT BE AT RANDOM there must be a thing which started it all god

  • @ScientificExploits we muslims belive in that one god who created every thing now by mistake chritains though jesus was a god and that is WRONG jesus was a human a man a good man who was sent from god to humans so do jews think like us the scintfic facts proving jesus cant be a god are a lot and that what resultede in people being atheais is miss understanding now when you read about islam you would relize that god created the world with no mistakes NOTat all

  • @TRiiKzZ1CoD No one knows how the universe began. Where the matter and energy first came from to become our universe. And yet you blatantly assert that god created the universe. Without any proof. Why do you not say, "I do not know how the universe began."

  • @ScientificExploits yeah its true that no one were energy and matter came from and i personally think its will never be discoverd at all just to keep humans aware like the quran says (( that man has been givin from scince nothing apart from littile things )) this is just another proof that that there is a god of course you knoe the rule that says matter can not disaper or come from no were it can only change from one form to another so were did matter and energy come from unless if a god did it

  • @TRiiKzZ1CoD Eventually we may discover how the Universe began, but until then you cannot say for a fact that a god had to create it.

  • @ScientificExploits lets spose that they desicover at the end that the universa began with the big bang and that will all matter and energy come from just like it says in the quran dont you think that god actuualy sent quran to humans ??

    i will ask you a littile qustion the that a famous atheis philosopher sed he sed that i could answar any qustion apart from one which is why when a human is in a situation that he cant do any thing and knows no one can help him he alwyas asks help

  • @ScientificExploits he always asks for help from god ? why will he syed that there must be a gene in the human DNA from god that gives you that feeling of a god that for you but for me i have another answar to that its in the quran it sayes that all humans have the spirit of god which makes them alive as the quran sayes which am assuming why all scintist can not tell today explain the secret of life , how are things alive what make an plant or an animal cell alive ??

  • @TRiiKzZ1CoD I don't know who Sed he Sed is. I will however agree that the thoughts humans have about gods can be traced back to our DNA. DNA is the blueprint on which our brains and minds are built on. Gods might just be a product of our increased intelligence.

  • @ScientificExploits i told you every thing apart from one thing please for your own benifit do your best and try to read the quran i got nothing els to say to you apart from peace and good luck in life

  • @TRiiKzZ1CoD An example would be the times Islamist are required to pray by the qua-ran. You must pray at sunrise and at sunset. Yet, in some seasons near the poles the sun never rises or sets, a perpetual day. What does "Allah" say to do in that situation? He doesn't say anything, because when the book was written by men, no one had been to the poles of the Earth, or even knew of their existence.

  • It just amazes me that this grown man is saying these things and appears to actually believe what is coming out of his mouth. I believe a better way is Deism. Most people, of course, have never heard of Deism. Information at Deism d com.

  • Wrong. Christianity is a totalitarian belief. It's the wish to be a slave. It's the desire that there be an unalterable, unchallengeable, tyrannical authority who can convict you of thought crime while you sleep, who must subject you to total surveillance around the clock every waking and sleeping minute of your life, before you're born and, even worse, after you're dead. A celestial North Korea. However, at least you can die and escape from North Korea.

  • CHRSITIANITY = HATE

    CHRISTIANITY = VULGARITY

    CHRISTIANITY = EVIL

    CHRISTIANITY = CANCER TO SOCIETY

  • @jacmia

    ATHEISM = HATE

    ATHEISM = VULGARITY

    ATHEISM = EVIL

    ATHEISM = CANCER TO SOCIETY

    Being arbitrary is pretty easy.

  • @jacmia Its nor arbitrary ... Historically Christians haven't contributed much to society .... If you like accesible medicine and todays modern conveniences like electricity you can thank Atheists. We should be living in age of reason and science and still people believe in the madness of Christianity which historically has been the source of more bloodshed than any soveirgn, Empire or war. It has exmeplified hate throughout its bloody history and you say its about love ... read your history !

  • wwwdotExposingChristianitydotcom

  • Christianity is BAD. Almost all religions are bad. Why? THEY JUDGE YOU. I'm not gay but if i was, IM ALREADY OUT???? Masturbation? Im ALREADY OUT? I've had sex more than once????JUDGED JUDGED JUDGE>BS

  • also christianity warns of a world domination plot called the beast yet christians are the ones helping the beast along spreading unethical one way or highway beast like religion around to try to give these most likely demonic immature beings more power and dominion over everyones life..

  • Yet a moral good divine figuar never appears in the bible on its own mathimatical code it shows jesus is evil cause he would be the anti christ which means his father would be lucifer and explain the immature ignorant rules of the christian faith alpha numerical code jesus name adds up too 666 alpha code means a=9 b=18 basicly every letter add 9 to and add each letter up of jesus name it equals 666

  • Biggest problem with christanity is in many ways it says to worship evil aka there devil and anti christ then warn against doing so through a code

  • This made me lol. Christianity was cpoeid out from other "barbarian" religions. And actualy the only truth in christianity is the 6-th comendment: do not kill. All else - bullshit :D

  • @imperator332 Wow! What a serious lack of knowledge of world history. Are you serious or just brainwashed?

  • Christianity:

    A rather potent and powerful ideology that throughout history has seemed to cause more problems than it's worth.

  • Interesting that Matt Slick has never been able to find a church with a membership of over 25 to hire him to actually be EMPLOYED as a minister, isn't it?

  • What is Christianity? The greatest bullshit story ever told. Weak minded retards lap it up like cream, give 10% of their money to psychopathic parasites.and live delusional wishful thinking lives in which they never die. Good luck to all the retards.

  • @bigboy45454545 well I guess you would have to make that argument to about 250 million Christians...And also did you ever stop and ask yourself...what if your wrong? For you are the children of your father the devil, and you love to do the evil things he does. He was a murderer from the beginning. He has always hated the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, it is consistent with his character; for he is a liar and the father of lies...But you are loved regardless.

  • a good word. keep watching!

  • Why couldn't we have come from a single cell?

    Why would god give you the freedom to choose between right and wrong? If you were god wouldn't you want your creation to choose your way.

  • Answer: pure bullshit

  • @gupsphoo How do you know it's pure bs?

  • God and nature are different in many aspects. Nature follows the rule 'cause and effect' and you believe in it without connection to God is lost. The reason is that every cause and effect are interrelated and hence without it God doesn't exit. This is the underlying idea of christianity. Jesus is a created human being and by nature tied up by cause and effect. He was born and had a mother ( cause and effect) like any other creature. How dare you say he is God? Misleading.

  • Allah manages and administer all things with wisdom. One is to use 'cause and effect' otherwise people could have been mentally sick to understand the system. In other instances, cause and effect won't be working to give an explanation about certain events. For instance, miracles. It couldn't be explained by cause and effect, the matter is misleading if the person perform a miracle is god as happened in christianity.

  • All of us are new on this planet, our first visit ! Without revealed knowledge from the creator, will we be saved? Know our God is ultimate goal in life and hence will be guided.

  • gospels were not eyewitnesses

  • Christianity have so many Contradictions

    it is a typeface Religion

  • Amen, CARM!

  • It's brainwashing! That's what it and all the religions are.

  • Id rather eat glass mix with salt then sit through this mans bullshit again.

  • 359

    In Skythopolis, Syria, christians organise the first death camps for the torture and execution of arrested Gentiles from all around the Empire.

  • Way to fail hard talking about the false religion of Catholicism responsible for those acts. Dont even start mentioning deaths in the name of religion because there have been over 230+ million from communist countries resulting from the nihilism atheism breeds. Joseph Stalin 20 million plus dead, Mao-Tse-Tung 40 million plus dead, Adolf Hitler 10 million plus dead, Pol Pot, Atheist: 2 million dead, Kim-Il-Sung 5 million dead, Fidel Castro 1 million dead. To name a few.

  • @JesusforLife2 I just assume you're a troll when this tired argument is trotted out. It's sad people still use it though.

  • @zofspade And I likewise assume you are a troll when an atheist offers nothing intellectual to say and only diatribes.

  • @JesusforLife2 Wow, you're serious? That makes it much worse. You actually stand behind that nonsensical argument? You realize a toddler could counter it, right? You're sure you want to die on that hill? You really want to go the route taken so many times before that has been dismantled and discredited and obliterated over and over? You're sure about this? You can still go back and admit you're a troll with a bad name.

  • @zofspade And again more ignorant conjecture. You could still go back and admit you're a troll with a bad name.

  • @JesusforLife2 I don't think you know what the words "diatribe" and "conjecture" mean. You've used both incorrectly, and no you're just repeating what I'm saying. Sounds like my original assumption (you're a troll) is true.

    Immediately after its full legalisation, the Christian Church attacks the Gentiles: The Council of Ancyra denounces the worship of Goddess Artemis

  • God is not a trinity. The scripture says, hear O Israel, the LORD your God is ONE. He is not two or three, except for the body of Jesus Christ, the Soul of Jesus Christ which is His natural mind, and the Eternal Spirit of Jesus Christ, Who is God, and as we all do, has to war with the flesh.

  • idk wat religion i believe in im trying to figure that out.

  • God cannot lie? "I made the sand a boundary for the sea, an everlasting barrier it cannot cross. The waves may roll, but they cannot prevail; they may roar, but they cannot cross it."=Tidal waves can't happen, but...we know better. To people who live in the desert, of course something like that is "Impossible". Either god is ignorant of his own creation, or this was written by desert people...pick one.

  • too many loop holes. Is 1John 3:9 a verse that is true or false? Please no big paragraph of explanations. Just a true or false for an answer please.

  • True ONLY when you look at it in proper linguistic context. Don't bother with KJV English.

    I actually wrestled with this verse for a month. Here's what it means. "to continue in sin" is the closest to "practicing sin" as you can say it in Greek.

    Believers are capable of sinning frequently, but it's not the same as practicing it as a way of life. It's one thing for someone to struggle with lust; it's entirely different to say "I turn tricks for God and He's okay with that."

  • Believers are capable of sinning frequently... Sinful people are made of flesh and bone. But so are Saints. And Saints are believers. So, If this is true then find a verse that says Saints are capable of sinning frequently, but it's not the same as practicing it as a way of life. The point? What Saint sins?

  • Well, look at the Corinthian church. They had a lot of issues going on but they were still saved.

    Now, there's a consequence of sinning frequently. In chapter 5 of Paul's first letter to Corinth, a man was sleeping with his mother-in-law a lot. He suggested the man suffer the consequences so that his soul is preserved.

    His salvation wasn't in question but his testimony was. Jonah told God "No" a couple of times. Jonah was still saved.

  • nobody in the Corinthian church were Saints. All the churches were bad except for church in Thessalonians. Spirit and soul are not the same thing. The spirit goes back to God, that not saying the man' spirit does or his soul does. And only the Born gain go back to God. it is quite obvious the man sleeping with his mother in law is not born again or even saved. Because those actions prove that. Again show me a verse that claims Saints sin.

  • "To the church of God in Corinth, to those sanctified in Christ Jesus and called to be holy, together with all those everywhere who call on the name of our Lord Jesus Christ—their Lord and ours"

    - 1 Corinthians 1:2

    No one calls Jesus Lord but by the Spirit. These aren't saved people?

    And I found your verses, just one second..

  • You are reading it wrong. No where does Paul confirm in that verse that the church of Corinth is a righteous church. Only the Thessalonian church gets an assured greeting that they are doing right. And there is no verse showing one Corinth calling Jesus Lord. You need to look at how Paul comes off to the Thessalonians as compared to the Corinthians. The Corinthians are game players still finding excuses to keep sinning.

  • Righteousness comes by faith. He says those in Corinth are being sanctified. No one is being sanctified unless they were justified first.

  • If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word has no place in our lives.

    1 John 1:8-10

    My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have one who speaks to the Father in our defense--Jesus Christ, the Righteous One."

    1 John 2:1

  • Claiming to be without sin would mean that that person is saying he or she was born without sin...that what th Pharisees believed. They didn't look at themselves as sinners but everyone else was. They believed they were born free from sin.And the Pharisees even called Jesus a sinner. Read 9:3-34. It confirms all this. Now me? I am not a liar because I never said I was without sin. But what I can say is I sin no more.

    Notice in 1John2:1 the word "anybody" is used instead of children.

  • Notice in 1John2:1 the word "anybody" is used instead of children. That's because the children of God cannot sin. 1John 3:9. But if anybody else sins the"REAL" children of God have the power to ask God for Jesus to help that person who sins to lead him not into temptation but to deliver him from evil like He did for them when they were once sinners. Remember that one? You got to keep rolling sevens for the rest of your life to stay right with God...

  • Was Paul a sinner? Did Paul sin?

    I like what the late Dr. Walter Martin once said in a debate: "You and I did not recieve Christ's perfect lawkeeping when we came to Him." If we have righteousness, it was charged to His account.

    We lean on His righteousness. Believe me, I wanna do better and sin less. The moment I say I'm sinless, I'm in violation of some pregnant verses found in 1 John 2.

    John MacArthur's book "Is It Real" at his website illuminates on the subject.

  • But what is said of the man in the Corinthian church:

    "hand this man over to Satan, so that the sinful nature may be destroyed and his spirit saved on the day of the Lord."

    - 1 Corinthians 5:5

    This man was in gross error. But Paul is not saying he's not saved. It's like a bratty kid at a birthday party who makes a mess and doesn't care. After a while, mommy wants him home.

    In the same way, if we sin grossly like that man did, God WILL call us home earlier than expected.

  • That's personal and in order to be congenial, let us remove such notions from academic discussions, friend.

    I used the Ultraman example because it parallels a verse in Scripture: "But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us." - 2 Corinthians 4:7

    1 Corinthians was a rebuke; let's not forget they 360'd in the second letter =)

  • No they all didn't. Paul's second letter to them is rather a plea to get right with God...maybe some did...but still the church of Corinthians fell into corruptions. So did Galatians. And those two churches laid the ground work for what became latter known as the Roman Orthodox Catholic church which later split into two churches of corruptions. That theme is well hidden in the letters.

  • The reason why believers "cannot continue in sin" because "God's seed lives in them." That's the true nature of a Christian.

    Think about the old Ultraman series from 1966. Shin Hayata was Ultraman. Ultraman was the TRUE nature of the very flawed Shin Hayata.

    In the same way, Christ lives inside those who exercise faith and trust in Him (Genesis 15:6)

  • I know about 1John 3:9. Some one that reaches this state is through with repentance. 1John 3:6 is the practicing of our faith and it is a verse descended from the O.T. in Proverbs 17:2. That is 1John 3:6 in O.T. style. 1John 3:9 just doesn't happen...it's some how like the pain of child birth.

  • All of Gods word is true but it has to be viewed in the right context otherwise the whole bible can really be questioned in the same manner.

    For judgement is without mercy for the one who has shown no mercy, Mercy triumphs over judgement. -James 2:13 Mercy Triumphs over judgement. Please don't lose sight of the love and mercy of God on his people.

  • If believing in God takes faith, how much more faith you need to believe evolution, which opinion came from a person who never at all witness that evolution. God bless!

  • I believe all this and its a good explanation but I do believe in the scientific research on evolution so its confusing

  • Good explanation!
