  • there clapping cause the moron got caught and imprisoned what a bunch of idiots. Ron paul should have won with a landslide victory. the moron want a hundred years more of war. And does not plan to pull our troops out of harms way. To be honest I think we should consider letting the world know that we are just the same as everyone else. And getting screwed just the same. This countrys not free we dont want war but we as well as them are being forced. Fuck the fedral bankers and the wealthy elite.

  • I absolutely agree about Ron Paul! I was a Precinct Captain and spent MANY hours on his campaign and he NEVER was allowed any MSM coverage. What a bunch of crap! The gov only lets us hear what they want. The Federal Reserve and the IRS are completely unconstitutional! There are over 100 taxes that are imposed on American citizens that DIDN'T EXIST 100 years ago (one of them being Federal Income Tax), and America was a prosperous nation with moms that stayed at home and raised their children!

  • ok... ummmm him being tied up at the time is more then i want to have as a visual..... Man now i am going to have nightmares... and DUDE how much is this stupid war costing... ok it ok to spent that over there but nothing for ourselfs?

  • McCain is a jerk......

  • Well, now I know who I am definately NOT voting for! Get a life, John - you jerk.

  • Just need to use that million for the poor or something lol!

  • McCain doesn't like events where nobody dies !! Who needs Woodstock when you have Napalm huh Johnny ? !

  • Woodstock had 5,162 medical cases, according to a state Health Department report released October 4, 1969. The report listed 797 documented instances of drug abuse. No births were recorded in the festival medical tent, but Dr. Abruzzi told the Health Department there were eight miscarriages. The report lists two deaths by drug overdose and the death of Raymond Mizak in the tractor accident.

  • you know...I support Obama for the RIGHT reasons, not the propaganda spread by the news...but this guy is truly an American Hero...if Obama does not get the nomination...this man gets my vote and I'll work like a dog to get him elected...Bravo Senator McCain...Bravo!!!

  • Bad idea. He's a hero but Hillary Clinton's policy ideas are almost as good as Obama's. I believe Obama is the best candidate with the best policy ideas and Clinton is a machiavellian person but she's better than McCain. McCain is a hero, but he has an awful economic plan and admits he knows next to nothing about the economy he wants to keep an already failed war going. I have to wonder what you think are the "right" reasons to support Obama. Obama thinks so too.

  • He was actually not tied up, he was busy making one of his 32 propaganda tapes for the North Vietnamese to save his own ass. No other POW's did that but him. Way to go "hero".

  • um woodstock is a part of history.

  • History my ass. It was a bunch of doped out morons hittin' it with other morons. If we are going to look at it as history let's let it serve as a warning- don't let us repeat this, and for the sake of the nation, keep the hippies out of office! God Bless America!

  • Ugh. He's such a PIG.

  • Iraq war is costing American taxpayers $4000 a SECOND.

    It's a fact, Jack.

  • Woodstock was one of the most significant cultural events of the twentieth century. John McCain is a hero, but celebrating culture is important and a large part of that event was trying to stop more soldiers from ending up in his position so I don't think he should be making too much fun of Woodstock. There were an unusually large amount of insane people there but it was important and a Woodstock museum is a really cool idea. Vote Obama.

  • You people are freaking me out.

  • We should do nothing BUT make fun of the people at Woodstock. They are a bunch of self-absorbed left wing America haters. Finally people are seeing what they are about and voting against Hillary. In all honesty I am shocked that the Dems are not supporting her, but it is good to see. Now, to quote Frank Drebbib, I dream of a day hen the Democrats put up a candidate worth voting for.

  • Hippies did a lot of stupid things, but they did a lot of good things too. For one, they drastically increased environmental awareness, they were leaders in getting us out of a war as stupid as Iraq and the music some of the hippie musicians made was absolutely genius. The "Free Love" thing was completely retarded and the use of hard drugs like cocaine and heroin was bad, but that was only part of it. Hippies did not hate America either, they were just tired of being lied to by politicians.

  • "they were leaders in getting us out of a war as stupid as Iraq"??

With all due respect, they were a major reason the politicians lost their resolve to handle the Viet Nam War in the right manner. They fumbled around for years making up stupid "rules of engagement" and getting American soldiers killed. That should not be commended.

Ducks Unlimited has done more than the hippies to help the environment.

I cant say I am a McCain supporter, but he is better than what the Dems have to offer.

  • By the way, I don't think John McCain is nearly as bad as Johnson or Nixon. They were the definitions of corrupt politicians and it had nothing to do with party, either. Also, Hillary = Hippie? I don't think so. The person closest to a hippie running would probably be Ron Paul... God Bless the American People and the things the American Government is doing right.

  • he won! its rigged! for him!

  • no, you're full of shit.

The idea of bombing Iran (which WILL have to be approved by a democrat controlled congress btw) is a strategy called pushing buttons. We threaten a bomb, they stop fighting. It will have to be approved by the U.N. It's not the worst idea that came up. Are you going to pull your head out of your ass now? There's not going to be an apocalypse, no doom and gloom. Bombing Iran may end the war much sooner. Like you said, we can't fund these wars.

  • wow, the intolerance of Hillary supporters. Racist much? Who would've guessed? You're stupid enough to think the Clinton's are the best thing since sliced bread.

  • hey John135246, the economy fell under Clinton's policies. It's 10 years later and they're still Bill Clinton's policies. Shall we count the way? 1. massive trade deficit, major acceleration in 1997. The economy can't improve until this is fixed. Bush reversed the trend recently by signing trade pacts. Clinton did nothing.

  • Huh?!!! The reason why we're still in Iraq is because a few things didn't go right. I think maybe we should've bombed them - then rebuilt it. This war is taking too long. McCain has a point. By the way, Hitlery voted for the war in Iraq. The truth sucks, but its still the truth.

  • Lets face it, there is really no one running that is going to please anyone 100% But I have to say GOD help us all if OBAMA or HILARY get in office, we need someone to run our country{not ruin or wreck it!} and also know how to guide our miliary . I know Hilary nor Obama has never been in it to know anything about it.

  • You idiot, get off the internets and out into the real world. Obama's not a Muslim and he didn't take his oath on the Qu'ran and he participates in the Pledge of Allegiance.

  • Hillary scares the shit out of me. Socialized health care and she going broke already in her campaign. She's going to rape our wallets with taxes and pork spending, legislate everyone's behavior and fial to improve the economy (trade deficit = China) because she's in bed with the Chinese.

  • Yeah, saving $1million on a Woodstock museum will allow us to fund the Iraq war for another 12 minutes. Sounds good.

  • yea i am a liberal but i would have no problem with mccain as president. he can lead the country to one goal and they should make a museum to vietnam pows b4 woodstock

  • leave it toa liberal to waste the countries money. youre the unintelligent one. john mccain = next president of the united states

  • Where's the $6.9 billion going to be spent if not for a Woodstock Museum?

  • tax rebates. Social Security. The Dems cry that the country is indebting our children because of the war. So the stupid dems decide to spend on worthless things anyways! BTW, it was the Depression Era folks that fought for civil rights. Honor them instead, not some stupid hippies.

  • Porche, McCain keeps saying he's going to CUT spending, not increase it. How's he going to save us with a NET spending increase of $6.9 billion? I'd rather have a Senator wasting $1 million than $194 billion.

  • What is the 6.9 billion increase going to?

  • lol even if you dont like the guy you have to admit that was pretty funny

  • Well I gotta say this: if McCain doesn't get the presidency, he could go on the road and do stand-up.

Donno if he's got someone writing all that for him, but if not, he's got a rapier wit.

If Billary ends up getting the Dem nomination, and McCain gets the Repub nomination, I know who I'm voting for.

  • McCain was a POW in Vietnam during the time that Woodstock was you moron.

  • are you mentally handicapped?

  • I think you are

  • John Mccain was a Navy pilot. Shot Down. Captured. Held prisoner so a bunch of clueless suburban fatbodies could have TIVO. Semper Fi.

  • Comeback Mccainimal!!!

  • John McCain supporters, help spread the word about the "CFR". Thank you

  • MCCAIN HAS NO CHANCE

  • Any candidate is going to have a view somewhere you don't agree with. Sometimes they just don't say enough for you to know what their beliefs really are. At least we know what McCain stands for.

  • If clintons the answer must have been a stupid question

  • I couldnt go either,I was tied up too.

However thats another story...a very disturbing, perverted story.

  • Ithought u gay democrats were for demons i mean gays same thing anyways

  • Omg are u everywhere telling that? i should report u for spamming. We arent pieces of shit u gay loving hippies

  • Republicans are the Best, and so is McCain, he has won my vote.

  • $1 million for a history museum. Geez, that's a lot. That pays for, what, one half a second in Iraq? Great country. Unlimited money for death and destruction, but no money for museums commemorating historic events. Nice.

  • Because I'm sure there's no chance he was implying the money would do better giving healthcare to wounded veterans.

  • You have to say a little bit more to imply a detail like that. That, my friend, is an inference you're making.

  • Woodstock = Historical, what a joke.

  • God Bless Jon Mccain. This is the best line in all of the debates so far.

  • yeah, everyone can tell by your cool user-name. get a hobby.

  • If she want's to push a bill through to spend 1 million dollars on a Woodstock museum, wait I got a better idea, let's build a museum to put that blue dress on display for the public to see.... I'll gladly let my tax dollars go to something as worthy as that. :)

  • "We should start by ensuring that the G-8, the group of eight highly industrialized states, becomes again a club of leading market democracies: it should include Brazil and India but exclude Russia. Rather than tolerate Russia's nuclear blackmail or cyberattacks, Western nations should make clear that the solidarity of NATO, from the Baltic to the Black Sea, is indivisible and that the organization's doors remain open to all democracies committed to the defense of freedom" John McCain

  • Only stupid people can support this stupid project

  • funny stuff LOL

  • That was a good line. But I'm still tired of republicans.

  • This comes from a true American heroe. Those that critize him don't have the guts to do what he did.

  • While you were fodder in a meaningless right-wing war, other people were trying to save your ass.

If they can spend "taxpayer money" on a goddamn war, they can spend MY tax money on an event promoting PEACE!!!

  • Can it liberal scum, liberals are the lowest form of trash on this earth

  • Wow, do you really think that, or are you just messing around? Where are you from, and how old are you? Are you sure that you know what the word "liberal" means?

  • agreed.

  • Wow. How is this funny? POW camps + punnery = A+ comedy?? $1 million to build a museum sounds fairly cheap to me. I think the real story is that this debate happened in a room full of people who were somehow deeply alienated by the hipster/beat movement in the 1960's. So, basically a bunch of people who were really uncomfortable with sex, drugs, and/or rock music. 40 years later, hatred of hippies is apparently still a big part of the Republican ethos. Scary.

  • He was in those camps...therefore he can make fun of them

  • Sure, McCain has certainly earned the right to make as many jokes about Vietnamese prison camps as he likes... I just don't find them real funny, personally.

  • he was getting his ass beat daily while they could have cared less, as long as they were happy, and free... and people wonder why we hate hippies...

  • So, you're saying that the outcome of the Vietnam war would have been better if *more* Americans had gone there? Am I correct in thinking that over 8.7 million Americans served in that war? Because if that's the case, it seems like more than enough to me, considering the fact that we're talking about a conflict on the other side of the globe that had very little to do with our own country. We'll have to disagree on that one, I suppose.

  • As much as fucking Hitler had to do with us. We stood still and did nothing while millions of Jews were getting killed. We did nothing until our soil was hit. We could of prevented Pearl Harbor. I am not saying that Vietnam wasnt a mistake but when exactly do we start caring?

  • Please... stop with the superficial banter and partisan hackery. Post a video where John McCain is talking sense about how to manage the future of this country.

  • Right on, McCain! If the pansy-ass flower children and red diaper doper babies want a museum let them pay for it.

  • ha, mccain, that's pathetic

  • John McCain is the real deal. What you see is what you get, a true patriot who will not pander to special interest groups. America NEEDS this man. I just hope the country wakes up to this fact. God bless America.

  • You are delusional. McCain has routinely proven his willingness to pander to special interests.

  • put down the crack pipe.

  • in case you missed it

McCain sings happy songs about bombing Iran

    f*cking psycho

  • oh, and it's just the worst fucking thing in the world to join the military to fight for your nation? wow...

  • Fight for your nation in Vietnam. LOL

  • LMAO, go MCCAIN!

  • God Bless you John McCain!!!

You were with fellow Heroes while those at Woodstock were with fellow Zeroes.

  • thisnovember5th dot com

  • Code for those in the know..:)

    Good post.

    Sig

  • macyisaspy, for the museum or not, there is NO reason to spend taxpayer dollars on such a project. his comment was not weird at all, he was demonstrating examples of pork barrel projects (like an unnecessary museum) that his opponents have sponsored. McCain, on the other hand, has yet to make any wasteful earmark requests.

  • "Tied up"...meaning you were the fodder for the Christian Conservative war machine who tossed you into a foreign land for no good reason, meanwhile a bunch of college students back home were listening to some kickass rock, doing lots of good drugs and having lots of sex...I think you got the wrong end of the deal there, John.

  • he and others like him were so you could post useless drivel now. Just say thank you

  • What exactly was Vietnam but a senseless waste of American lives and money? Please inform me exactly how America's actions in Vietnam did anything to protect our freedoms and then tell me who to thank. Speaking as a veteran, I think McCain is doing all of us a great dishonor by championing this new Vietnam...a war for profit and religious insanity that our brave soldiers are not being allowed to win.

  • They beleive that the u.s.'s presence alone was enough to sprea democracy to the nearby nations

  • Am I the only one's who is bothered by this?

I personally was not at Woodstock, as I was not born yet. However, I'm all for the musuem.

I liked John McCain, but this here struck me as weird.

  • I may not vote for John McCain in the primaries, but this was the line of the campaign.

  • That was a good line. I like and respect McCain.I lust dont support his National offence adgenda.I fully support Ron Paul.

  • Huckabee/McCain 08!

  • Definitely one of the best moments of the debate. I totally wish I recorded it! :)

  • John is the man for the job! JOHN McCain in 2008!

  • Best one-liner of the campaign so far. It hits on so many points so succicntly.

  • Hee. Nice, Mr. McCain. Best moment of the debate.

  • mitt romney is my halloween xostume this yr, it doesn't get much scarier than that, the possibility of mitt romney for president freaks me out...

  • Oh, I am so voting for this man! I've always supported him, and watching him comeback from his campaign finacial issues has been nothing short of amazing.

  • John McCain ROCKS!!!!! GO JOHN MCCAIN 2008!

  • WOW

  • Hillarious, a great moment.

  • Hilarious, I supported and still strongly support John McCain for president all the way. Dies anyone know where I could get a McCain sweater.
