No... not at all... LSD capitalizes on a person's various forms and occurrences of psychosis. In one sense, it brings one's true self to light. No... not at all... LSD capitalizes on a person's various forms and occurrences of psychosis. In one sense, it brings one's true self to light. If you're a person who is unstable and uncomfortable with what "lurks beneath," taking LSD can be a really a bad decision. Seeing those things when you're not at least somewhat ready can be utterly horrifying or push an already manic person into a state of permanent psychosis.

ONE very important piece of information they forgot to mention is that if you have a history of mental illness, in your family etc, you should not take LSD, it can trigger schizophrenia and other major mental heath issues. Please be careful do your research, my close friend will never be the same

Flashbacks are VERY rare, and usually occur within a few hours of cid wearin off. And as for the whole "linked to periods of insanity" thing, that's just misleading. It doesn't make you insane, unless you're a regular heavy cid muncher, or you have an underlying psych problem anyway.
Oh, and would you trust a lifelong vegan's idea what a steak tastes like? doubt it. So why trust a straight-head's view of how a drug makes you feel?

lol ya for real...Before I tried acid I was scared as shit to try it, because all the bad media sayin bla bla bla flashbacks n bad trips. Then I did some research and said flashbacks rarely happen. Then tried it twice and seemed to like it. Then the third try had a bad trip, then that was enough of that lol...
On another note...bad trips arent as crazy as people say, its just really fucking weird.

as my moniker indicates, i own cattle which has its side benefits, too. i haven't indulged in at least 10 years, mainly because it loses its appeal after a while. i don't know or know of anyone who had bad experiences without underlying mental or emotional issues. having a trusted guide or companion is always advisable.

not sure. but it can be very severe. Search some e journals about that. Cocaine is known to cause flashbacks that can manifest in the form of anxiety attacks.

yeah cocaine used to give me panic attacks when i stoped taking it, probably the addiction to it. but lsd flashbacks are different they last less longer nd they are like being back in the trip, and important thing is not to panic when u have the flashback because it will be over in a few min/seconds

lsd25 is not linked to mental illness or "insanity". this as a misconception, but those at risk for inherited schizophrenia should not take it, because of the cascade effect it has on serotonin upkeep. flashbacks are also a myth, although reportedly can occur in people with lsd25 induced psychosis associated with serious schizophrenia. This video is poorly researched, and should not be confused for scientific study.

Actually, you apparently have no idea what HPPD is. HPPD is a minor inconvenience at best where the sufferer may experience some minor visual symptoms such as air appearing to have a grainy texture, the perception that objects are quivering in a static setting, or halos surrounding objects. Almost all of these symptoms are not even close to being serious enough to interfere with your life. You don't "Get stuck in a bad trip"
