A very depressing movie. Even though the story ended sadly, the movie made me realize something. Life is moving on. Loving each other and having the sense of contentment. The introduction of the movie is on Christmas, and the ending ended in Christmas. :D Nice movie of course... Watched it for 4times :D

the ending of this movie is not totally sad because as you can analyze though mew cried he is very happy because there is someone who really loves him. the ending of this movie is a "HANGING ENDING" so you need to think what kind of ending you want for this movie... kuha mo?...hehehehe

Anyways, It was a very good movie!

Mother gave Tong the consent to love Mew by letting him to choose between the two dolls (boy and girl)... and Tong chose the boy doll.

Mother told Tong to "Do as you please."

According the letter of Tang... "It is just a matter of time".... Tong and Mew will be together...

I'm really glad that someone did this. Its lifting my soul. Im very very sad with the real ending, its so depressing. I'm a filipino too and watching this makes me understand, why a lot of movies end in happy endings — so the people who had watched it will be happy afterwards. This is a very good movie. But i really dont like the ending, im just gonna consider this as the real ending so i wont be sad at all. >_>

@v0carj9 Because the movie is suppose to be an open-minded ending. Anything could happen next. Besides, Tong doesn't want that kind of situation for now since to what their family has to cope with. I guess Tong will take it easy for a while till his family completely agrees to his sexuality.

@prudencio84 you don't get it right... the first one that you saw is the right subbed.. the second one, is just an alternate subbed to make the viewer feels better and to think that, it might ends well.. as simple as that.. try to read the details of this upload.. it says that "This is the parting scene between Mew and Tong with altered subtitles to give an alternate, happier ending to the show."

@prudencio84 as the title of the file itself "ALTERNATE" it means, it is actually created by somebody who only wish the ending could have ended differently from its original story. The owner of this file created his own ending out of his own opinion leading the story to how he wants it end. It goes to show that the line "For now I can't be your boyfriend, I do love you and I hope you can wait for me" was never in the first place written by the original author of the entire story. i think Mew and Tong will still be together after this because Tong broke up with her girflriend remember? He will forever be Tong's special friend. He chose the male santa claus decor. I just wondered why Mew cried at the end after putting the nose...and said thank you...for what??...that Tong finally said that he love him although he cannot be his boyfriend?

well. i love this ending...but i believe the original is much better to tickle the viewer's minds. People, if you rely on alternates, you would deviate from the intended story of the writer. The ending is left for us to think...of what has really to happen. If you think that if this one is better, think again...because choosing this would only mean you're not intelligent enough in understanding and making a dramatic quality movie

Anyone who has seen this glorious film would hope for this kind of ending. This film has affected me in a lot of ways and it has given me a greater, more hopeful view about love. Tong and Mew nailed it... I really do hope that they would make a sequel of this film.
