I think what should have happened-now I am not saying that he needed to die-was that Percy should have saved Fred and died in the cross fire, Fred goes into a coma and comes out of it after a month, that is just my opinion. I almost threw the book across the room after reading that part but didn't becuase it would have made a hole in the wall. I love the HP books dearly, and I admire JK Rowling, but not when Fred died... :(

yeah the way he died was rather unclear however he was dead as a result of a hall that had been hit with a terrible curse, implying it was the blast rather than the curse itself that killed him... I still remain suprised and confused, however as to how Bellatrix knew Fred and that he had died, since she was most likely in the vacinity of Tonks at the time, as she was to have been the one who killed her.
