In Sitchin's series "The Earth Chronicles", this was the story of Adam (Adapa) who was commanded by Enki not to drink or eat when he was summoned to Nibiru in Anu's presence. I believe the exact book of that series that talks about this is "The Lost Book of Enki". Interesting that Ya is the diety's name in this translation...as in YaWeh?

There's an article that deals with these little house shrines that have been turning up that some scholars believe show many early jews believed Yahweh shred his throne with his consort Asherah. Some of the little shrines have a double throne.
