Great job! Looks like they will be able to feed multiple families with a few more catches. I think many anglers with the catch and release mentality fish as a hobby/sport but for some it's truly a source of additional food supply....so I can't knock on that.

yes it all goes back in the river except shad unless somebody wants catfish which are the most plentifull fish in the river

no they never have gotten near that many in the nets. Netting has nothing to do with reduced shad numbers. It's a lot more complicated.
