They actually played the spurs, not blackburn and won 3-0 (which are currently destroying Liverpool 4-0, so i can't say they are a bad team -.-') and you forgot the victory against man city for the community shield (which have currently one of the best teams on the world). And why should anyone feel bitter for Ronaldo's leaving? United performed awesome in the last 2 seasons, and played better in the CL this time then they did in '09. i'm actually glad that utd got those 80mil's.

You, my boy, are an idiot. 1. Rooney is in a team that can beat Barcelona. The last victory was on 30 July 2011 (2-1 for United). 2. Rooney got more than enough goals to compensate for his appearences (league appearences: 220, goals: 110, that's a goal every second match which is fantastic), beside that, Rooney is playing on the whole field, you can see him in midfield and in defence as much as you see him in a forward position, bet you haven't seen ronaldo do that huh?
