  • what track is this?

  • Pacific Raceways?

  • Awesome vid man. I've always wanted to bring my 09 Cobalt SS to a road track but I haven't been able to find one near me.

  • that looks cool ,just bought my ss tubocharged 2010 last week and i love it .

i had mustang 5.0L ,camaro z28 ,trans am and a gt-r32 skyline and the cobalt ss turbo charged is a great car ,great power love the launch controll ,no lift shift and very confortable ,you have power wen needed and with mods you can have more power ...

  • That looked like fun (except the breaking the mount part) :)

  • It is quite a bit of fun, although I do catch quite a bit of hell from the v8 boys every time we go, haha.

  • @PopeCobalt Dude how is this car on the street? I'm thinking about buying one. Is it comfortable at all? Is it easy to drive in stop and go traffic, like easy clutch and shifter I mean? I drove an RSX type S, and I love the mix of speed and easy drivability. I could drive it all day, but when I want to slam gears it's fun too. But I look at reviews of the cobalt ss and it seems so much more capable, and so much more fun.

  • @PopeCobalt Just trying to find some input on this. Most people who driven both tell me to go with the RSX-S, but the SS is a bad ass little car and I refuse to count it out before I've driven one. but none of the 4 or 5 chevy dealers around here have one for me to drive, they just have automatic LS cobalts and I know that's not even the same car. The interior is good and the performance is good, but how does it ride on the street?

  • I've been driving my SS for almost a year now. It's great on the street. The suspension is tight, but it doesn't break your back. It's a good car for the street.

  • @AJballer Handles great, looks slick, pretty fast even stock. Been driving mine for about 3 mo's now and average 26.5mpg with lots of spirited driving mixed with highway. Torque steer can be tricky if you don't know how to deal with it.

But it's definitely awesome for a street car
