I think I am going to glue a step down/up ring to the front of mine to make interchanging the lens a bit easier. I mostly do table top reviews and the mino hd will not focus at that range to my satisfaction. This is definitely a mod that will help me.

Tell us more about the micro lens?  Where do you buy one & did you drill holes in the sides of the lens for rubber bands?
