@immortalfrieza I think that even though Final Fantasy fans would know essentially what the story line would be for a FFX Prequel, Final Fantasy fans would still greatly enjoy the game. It would be extremely easy to have a plot that is extremely expansive, besides one of the best things about Final Fantasy is the level of nostalgia associated with the games. I would say the vast majority of Final Fantasy fans replay their favorite games, even though they know how the story will progress.

@antonioc1 And the PS Vita, which in my opinion, will be killing the game a little bit. he best FF games are always on the consoles- the overplayed / oversold ones are always made portable. Hence the reason they will never remake FF7- there's just too big of a market for that game being this rare, PS game. FFX used to be like that, but it was mass produced as a game and now everyone who has a PS2 has it. I just hope the remake isn't bad.

throw all the villains in a large arena, confiscate their magical abilities, make them fight to the death using only their physical abilities. Jecht will obviously win. I can see Sephiroth putting up a fight (he has some fancy sword skills so he's nowhere near helpless), but he he would still lose.
