I have some old blades so I'm about to try this technique out, but I am wondering when you sharpen the blades by this method does it scar the skin? I usually get scared when the bottom blade is lined up with the top one, however thats when I get the closest line up. I was hoping there was some way to get a close line up without being scared.
if u wind up with a gap , open clippers , and u have a tension screw tighten it up , might help you , also i never see anyone testing the power on your clippers (i will explain ) also reset and cheek your armature , what my man here is doing is just really cleaning up his blade which is great dont think he is getting it any sharper (but clean and oiled is great keep up the good work ,
I tried this method and it killed my t-blade. I had a gap in between the still blade and the moving blade. Man if you can sharpen your blades like this you really are the king.
did you hear when i said you have to be care i have had other people on the tube that have tried this method and they had success it is a very tricky thing to do as i said in the video i had'nt posted this video because it is something that you may wanna practice on some old blades. yeah i get'em supper sharp and i did mess up a blade or two that is why i put that disclaimer on the video, like anything else you need to practice . hope you find some success with the video !
Has anyone tried to do this method? Did it work? Im sick for paying to have my blades sharpened and then you have to wait to get them back. I inquired about the machine and it cost $1000.
what about the dremel?

Hey i really liked your blade sharpening method, but theoretically your ruining your blades.
Bottom blade should be sharpened flat, top cutter should be hollow ground.
How does the sand paper method do either of the above?
Here are Professional Blade Sharpening LLC, i sharpen with diamond dust and tables that are kept within 1000th of an inch.
Please explain your method in more detail.
