Typical communist propaganda. Close to the end of part 1 they show how grateful people are. They tell them what to say and how to say it. just to make sure the armed militia is close by, to protect their right obviously, to express their gratitude to the regime.
the USA is like the Britain.. it preaches, love, peace, prosperity and posterity.. and it brings death, war, starvation, misery and whats more.. ignorance. Ask a high school student in the states, were various countries in the world are, the answer would be a vague one. Ask a American politician, about world affairs, and how that can affect his or her electorate, .. the answer would be a vague one. Wall street owns main street.. everyone knows this.. i.e GFC rescue, no strings attached..
Cuba smashed the myth that Latin America is doomed to poverty and exploitation forever. Now many countries are increasingly following their example and throwing off the shackles of American colonialism. The process is unstoppable. Latin America will be free.
What Chavez is trying to do will take many generations to changed this cannot be done over night nor can the people make changes in the way the Government's of the world are run.
I wish the Mr President Chavez all the very best at least he has a true vision that all people should not live in poverty.
Beautiful footage of the people in Caracas. Very tastefully done. Let me ask you: the mansions you show at the beginning, who in the Government do they belong to? They are BY FAR the richest people in the country (I'm sure you found that out after so much research).
Did you notice Chavez did not answer your question (..."so much poverty, in spite of all the changes you made?")? I guess you let him distract you with his artful wordplay. Happens all the time...
@andresboulton you are talking as if the uploader made this documentary your question cannot be answered as the uploader simply does not know. But yes you are right as Chavez has to keep the rich and poor on his side it must be a chess game for him all the time.
@andresboulton I am interested to know Andres about the Venezuelan situation. I am lucky enough to be educated and have come from a good background in the UK, but this background was earned by my father. Without the reforms post WW2 in the UK, my father would be a peasant here. He managed to make something of himself through a free eductaion all the way to University level. This had provided me a good start in lfe. Is this not Chavez's ideal?
