Tocchet with NARROW WIN over tough May.
Worthy victory for Tocchet!
This is good scrap.
Both landed some but Tocchet landed more simply.
He outlanded May.
May tryed to throw bigger/longer shots while Tocchet throws shorter ones.
Tocchet had better strategy in this one. It helped him here.
Two classic guy here, Tocchet was very good powerforward/fighter.

didnt see the beginning,, but I bet tocchett jumped may and started swinging like he does in all of his fights.. he is dirty,, thats why he wins fights.

Good fight but tocchet gave the punches so good, and he could really take punches too. He was a great player and the best hockey fighter (i think) to ever be in the NHL

Tocchet was the toughest REAL hockey player of the era. He was a better fighter than Neely and Clark, but all 3 were great. The Bruins got Tocchet after Neelys leg was fucked up and he wasn't the same physical presence. I couldn't imagine the Bruins having both Tocchet and Neely in their primes and healthy. No team's defencemen would wanna play. I think you would have seen a lot of increases in the 24 hour flu when teams played Boston.

How can you say Tocchet even won if anything that was a draw. They had equal punches no blood was drawn and the only reason tocchet ended up on top is because May tried throwing a punch over the top of tocchet end up on one skate lost balance and Tocchet threw him down which couldnt be hard
