The dreadful thing of course about flying to and landing in mumbai or bombay are all the Indians. It is like a hell on earth. Better to just bypass India all to gether and go somewhere pleasant where the people are not disease ridden.

You should have taken advantage of Lufthansa's arrivals service and if you had 9 hours in between flights I would have booked a airport hotel or a day room.

Omg, LOVE this. i flew with virgin atlantic first class and it was crap compared to this! i asked for some crisps and they bought me a tiny square bowl with about 7 crisps in! I actually counted them lol. I am so flying with Lufthansa for my next long haul flight.

@CJEChurchill Hope you enjoy it as much as we did. Lufthansa really does a good job. Whether it is a short haul or long, they still feed you. Not many airlines can say that today.

I think soon they're re-doing the 747-400 first class on Lufthansa. In the future it's supposed to have a comfortable seat with a separate flat bed right next to it for each first class passenger, with a really big in flight entertainment system in front of every seat. @stonewall97 Lufthansa now has a First Class Terminal inside the main terminals and only uses the off-site terminal if your flight originates in Germany. You can request to go over there but the once-in-a-lifetime ride on the tarmac was really enough. Just settled in to the most convenient, posh place. Thanks for being so observant!
