@prankster1893 the easy way is to just make a cube and animate it rotating back and forth. Then add a particle system to the cube. Set the cubes material to "halo". Check star, line, and the other shape box next to the othertwo. That should be all.
hi, i'm from germany so i can understand english very well but it's difficult to me tounderstand everything in blender.i'm using blender since 2weeks and i know the basics.i really would like to make a pretty animation like this. so can you please explain a little bit more detail how you made that. i know that it's annoying to do this the whole time but i think other youtubers have got the same problems
Im trying to create a similar animation but after being affected by the vortex my particles fly all over the place (falloff is set to zero too). How can I get the 'spherical' shape like in this clip. Is it the particle life (I bake 600frames @ 30fps and the particle life is 600 aswell)? Are you sure you haven't use other fields (forces) for this one? BTW What is your particle count?
well, all it is a plane giving off particles, and another plane with the vortex field, the vortex field has no falloff (0) and rotates at a constant rate through different axis, I can't remember the exact speed, but play about with it until you find something that looks good.
Sir slipspace rupture detected!
