During the initial invasion, the US Army was tasked with securing Baghdad. The US Marine Corps engaged every enemy unit along the way and cleared a path for the Army tanks to be able to reach their objective in time.

WRONG. USMC was tasked to take EAST BAGHDAD. They failed because they were 75% in flimsy wheeled trucks, arriving 6 days late, they were AWOL or as gyrenes say "UA".

There were NO marines in TF-1-64 Armor! The Army captured Baghdad by itself. The marines arrived 6 days late which allowed Saddam to escape as we now know. Who is the moron that put this up on Youtube? A task force is named after the unit in this case thus it is named after the 1st Battalion 64th Armor Brigade 0f the US Army. No marines were anywhere near the capture of the city on the day this film was shot. Marines up to their propaganda tricks again? For shame.

brigade combat team, it's been changed to UA now, which means unit of action, under the BCT format, you usually had battalions made up of strictly one job, i.e.- 1-64 Armor (DESERT ROUGES HOOAH[been there 5 yrs, lol]), or 3-15 infantry, now each battalion, although it has the same name , is a unit of action, composed of multiple jobs, i.e. 2 tank companies, 2 infantry companies, 1 engineer, and 1 support company, as well as headquarters company.

Iraq attacked our ally back in 1990 (Kuwait). In the war that followed, Iraq agreed to a ceasefire which was conditional upon Iraq complying with a list of US demands. These were demands which Iraq did not comply with for 13 years. This is legal reason enough for the US to restart hostilities. All Saddam had to do in order to stay in power was comply with the ceasefire agreement.

Some poor bugger that wasn't told by the Iraqi government that the American's are entering the city and doesn't realize you guys were being engaged, so thought it would be cool to drive alongside you - and you open up on him. No way in hell was he a threat to you. Warning shots in the engine would have been better. Not shoot him in the back AFTER he's passed you.

in other vids i'v seen there is a big ass rule never to come close to a convoy of fighting vehicles. being tanks humvee's or whatever.
most of the time the back vehicle also has a sign on it saying stay back 100 yards.. so he kinda shouldn't been close there.. and if he never heard all the shooting then.. yea.. could have been a bomb vehicle. so it got blown up.. his own mistake kinda he should never have been there.

I mean this is a good or even better footage that you can get on any television media but still I love the Abrams tank. That and the Challenger II has proven itself time and again and in situations like that. All I can say is the Abrams tank will keep you alive and has done so for many years. PM about this.

If we invaded for the sole reason because Al Qaeda had a handful of followers, then why didn't we invade one of the other places, there is Al Qaeda in Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Syria, Jordon, Qutar, Kuwait, etc. Why hasn't the dictatorship of Saudi Arabia been invaded? FYI zodiac, a technical is a civilian vehicle coverted into military use, usually trucks such as the one seen, armed with Machine guns, recoiless rifles, or just guys in the back with pistols even.
They got their names from when the Warlords would charge money to escort the UN people in Somilia using such vehicles, it was billed as "Technical" support.
