Very nice work. I've done only a mechanical restore on my six, but cringe when thinking about doing a paint restore to the extent you and your dad have. And of course I'm also partial to Emerald Green. It suits the car perfectly. Happy trails.
@Magcheck Definitely was some extensive work to get the finish to be so nice and we started out with this TR rust free and overall quite dent free. I couldn't imagine redoing the body on something very rusty. I can say though, I'd much rather do a cosmetic restore than a mechanical one! That seems like more work. Good luck with your TR.
Thanks! Thruxton was sold then I picked up the Speed Triple which has been sold as well. My next vehicle will either be another classic sports car or a 60's British motorcycle, hopefully sooner than later!
Yea. I picked up the Thruxton to have a more dependable/modern cafe'd Bonnie but it still seemed like the Thruxton didn't have the soul of a true 60's Bonnie/Tiger/TR6/Lightning/Commando. My ideal classic Brit bike would be a 60's Bonnie but I'm open to the single carbs and other makes. I'll have to exercise my right leg some to get prepared to do some kicking!

Nice car. Is it Emerald green?

@simonjrwinter Yes, the TR was repainted in its original shade of emerald green. I loved that shade of green!

You've definitely got class man. Great job on the restoration. Do you still own that Triumph Thruxton?

In regards to the 60's motorcycle, I'm guessing you're a fan of the oldschool kickstarts?
