every car in the family is breakin' down. unemployment's running out for everyone, those who have a job are hanging by a thread. There are jobs out there but not enough to live on. I wanna sing this song to them all but sadly my dad would say I'm too young to understand and my cousin's in the panic phase and that's not the time for sage advice as they just freak out even more. I may be young but i've had my hardships and even i can see this is life

this song just fits so much with my life right now. my baby is cuttin' teeth, i just found out im pregnant again!, im going through chemo while pregnant cause of the cancer that was found after my baby was born, the baby im having is baby #4, and so on... Sounds like life to me.

This song reminds me of my dad because he's always feeling sorry for himself and he's been out of a job for 4 months now and we can barely pay bills and now he finally has a job offer and hes stressed out and all upset because he now has to work an 8 hour day instead of 7 and sometimes he doesn't even go to work somedays and he sleeps in and he has the nerve to feel sorry for himself when there are so many people dont have jobs. so when he complains i just say "SOUNDS LIKE LIFE TO ME!"

Everytime one of my buddies at work complains about working an extra day or work over time because somebody is sick, I have to absolutely sing this song. Its more pay, You need the money and Sounds like life to me :] ANd this is exactly how i go about life personally, I expect to have the worst day then i end up haveing a better one then i could possibly imagine! It doesn't sugarcoat things or try to pass pain off as less than it is; country songs show viewpoints, what real people thought, felt, experienced or saw while they went through a situation. And country helps us laugh through the tears and the heartache; what other music has that much heart?
