  • Neptune used Splash!!!!! ( Just a pun :D)

  • where do you get these songs? XD ;) that one was just too hilarious.

  • Neptune being a Water Robot Master makes some sense... I know the planet itself is mostly made of Ice but then again so is Pluto. Sad that Pluto is no longer considered a Planet... which makes no sense to me

  • I guess Shoehorn sort of got...

    (whips on glasses)

SHOEHORNED into the Big Eye role, eh?

    YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHH

  • Planetary order? Well, even Holst's The Planets begins with Mars, not Mercury!

  • Even the Water stage was easy. >_>

  • RERTT-T-TTE-ETRE-EETR

  • 6:07 "We're give the Salt Water, which by that demonstration obviously SUCKS!"

Hehehe, one of the best parts of weapon demonstrations.. getting to see if they are terrible or not. Of course... one has to really use a weapon to know whether it is useless or useful, eh Top Spin?~

  • That is quite true, but Salt Water seems to have pretty limited uses X)

  • Neptune's easy, yeah. The one to start with if you go by weaknesses.

  • 2:27 to 2:28 Wow, I really can't believe you didn't get hit there. That was just pixel perfect epic dodging.

  • you...killed me

ah i was too easy anyway olo

  • Well done.

It seems like this is the most forgiving stage in terms of water physics so far.

Sorry, that's all I have for now. I'm not feeling too in-depth at the moment.

  • Scratch that, I do have something else to add: why don't you schedule McAfee to scan at a time when you're not on the PC? For me, I set the virus scanner to 5:00 AM, giving it plenty of time to do it's thing. Should something pop up later in the day, the shield catches it.

  • Good idea, Rag. Sometime around 2 in the afternoon should suffice! XD

  • I can't seem to find where to schedule its updates, it seems to just do it throughout the day on it's own accord.

  • There should be a section in your antivirus called "Scan" (if not there, check for "Options" "Settings" or "Configure" or so forth). Within that should be a tab for scanning or auto-scheduling. :)

  • Alas, this thing seems to only give me the options of letting it do it whenever the heck it wants to, or else I have to get updates myself manually. There doesn't seem to be any option anywhere to lock in when it seeks updates. Methinks the thing just hates me ;)

  • I;'ve got a challenge for you Roahm. Doesn't have to be buster only or no damage. Look up Megaman 2 neta. Try that! Haha.

  • I've seen that.... I'll pass, thanks X) Maybe in the future if I get bored enough, but yeah, I'm still sick of fighting the MM2 bosses for now ;)

  • let's see....almost beated every robot master...well, that's for the old games...

its lefth this game, the ones with the rockman killers, Megaman 8 & 9...do you plan to do all the robot masters?...because if you do...the were going to get a problem with sworld man o.ô

  • I do still plan to do 6, 7, and Mega Man and Bass after this one. I'd really like to do 8 and 9, but alas, I do not have the equipment to record from consoles, and I cannot afford such.

  • welll....we can count 2 of 8 of the robot masters of megaman 8 afther all...Astroman and Tenguman count as one by theyselfs no?

  • That's true.

  • ROFLCOPTERS! XD

oh and that enemy from the water it doesn't do nothing except swimming?

  • Indeed, all Swim Ball does is paddle its way through the water from my experience. It doesn't shoot or anything of the like.

  • I'm surprised the helicopters and those couple of cleverly-placed... uh, forgot their names... those floaty-exploding things... didn't rank it higher, as harder to perfect-run than the Mars one. Even though, yes, the Monkiki's -are- very annoying.

At least this, for a single stage, has a good VARIETY of annoyance to it. :) (But then again... still nowhere NEAR as difficult as NES MM1-2, still.)

  • And about the items during the ladder climb...

Pressing "select" on the map screen takes you to Dr. Light's Lab, where you can cash in P-Chips (which I'm sure you're aware of, but they don't make it very obvious!). One of the upgrades is called the "Mega Hand," which basically allows the Mega Arm to collect powerups that are out of reach.

(Posted for the benefit of the n00bs.)

  • Right, I actually went ahead and got the MH upgrade in the next vid.

  • Nible, Sible, Gible? No wait, the last one's a Pokemon.

  • True X)

  • Yeah, I was having problems coming up with a transition song for this one X)

  • What is your favorite Mega Man game?

  • Hmm, that is a tough one.... Lots of different games in the series have had things that have appealed to me. Mega Man & Bass, I loved that one due to the collection aspect of the Database CDs. MM9, I liked since it harkened back to the older games, I loved that. Legitimately however, my favorite was probably 3, I liked that it brought back the MM2 Robot Masters in a way, I wasn't sick of fighting them yet ;)

  • I liked how they brought back Flashman's battle arena in 9.

  • Yes, also a lot of areas from previous games were sort of remade in the Endless mode.

  • No, I was talking about Plugman's battle arena being a reference to Flashman's battle arena.

  • Right, I know

  • Like SplashWoman's stage featuring a variation of WaveMan's bubble trap. At least there were no QuickMan laser traps!!!

  • Egh, true enough X)

  • To follow: what about the MegaMan games appeals to you in general?

  • I like them because they're so hard that when you finally beat a level, you feel really rewarded and you're like, "Let's do this again!"

  • Well, Mega Man was a series I enjoyed right from the beginning. I liked the fact that you could pick what order to do the stages, I liked the cartoonish, colorful characters, it was a lot of fun. It has a nice level of difficulty, one that challenges without just being TOO frustratingly difficult that you just want to put it away and never see it again, it's a nice balance.

  • They're simple enough concepts that anybody can pick up and run through it.

The widgets in each stage gives them a unique, challenging feel to them, so you'll never be bored for long.

There's a smart way and a tough/skillful way to deal with just about anything.

Seems like there's always a surprise that you haven't discovered yet. I'm still seeing new things in MM7, and that was released over 10 YEARS ago! How many games do you know that do THAT?

It's the perfect combination of simple/divine

  • RE: MartinFerret

  • (CharLimit)

Plus, it isn't the same kind of action all of the time. Sometimes it's about accurate jumping/maneuvering. Sometimes it's about an intense fight (think Minibosses or Robot Masters). Sometimes it's about exploration.

There's always something fresh going on, because it isn't "the same kind of game all of the time." Acquiring and using different items/weapons allows for a variety of approaches to the variety of situations, too.

  • Yeah, I know! Everyone I know likes Mega Man 2 better. I think Mega Man 2 was so favorable because it was such an improvement from the first Mega Man, but Mega Man 3 has great music and stages, and it is a much longer game. I still haven't beat Mega Man 9 though! It's so hard!
