  • @Holly3278 Oh. Sorry....

  • I had a D&C in 2008 because I was bleeding between periods...when I woke up from this I was sore as all Hell and bruised down there...like I was beat up! But I'm glad it was done because they found no cancer in my uterus! ^_^

  • oooh so THATS were it goes

  • Pense na garota q vc gosta, coloque a mão no coração e pense no nome dela 3 vezes. Mande esse comentario em mais 2 videos e amanhã ela dirá q gosta de vc.

  • @Butterfly15323 yea, if you're lucky enough to have never needed a biopsy there then I see what you mean. ^_^

  • @Butterfly15323 This isn't a pap smear, hun. this is worse. trust me, I'd know.

  • Can someone explain me when doctors do pap smear is the same as biopsy? cause in this video it looks like if they are cutting tissues from inside.

  • @tecaistes this is not the same as a pap smear if that's what you're asking.

  • @SaraESainsbury oh I thought it was a pap smear, so what is this video about?

  • @tecaistes If the doctors think you might have cervical cancer or cancer in your uterus they will do this procedure to biopsy a bit of the uterus. that's why I had to have it done. a pap smear is just a swab of the opening of the cervix, they don't actually go inside the cervix. They might also perform what you see here if they suspect a number of other infections that dwell in the cervix or uterus area.

  • @SaraESainsbury Thanks for the explanation, now I understand. You are so nice! Thanks again.

  • @tecaistes no problem ;)

  • Wow that looks painful

  • How the hell did I get here? I mean I was watching a video about chimpanzees before this one

  • @BonScottAC LMAO!

  • @BonScottAC hahaha tell me about it.. i was watching funny baby laugh

  • @BonScottAC lol i was watching a kid say no no no !!

  • OW JESUS

  • y do they do this?! omfg

  • it must suck to be a girl birth n being a virgin periods

  • Oh, this makes me so hard.

  • When I miscarried a few years ago, they did this procedure. That shit hurt.

  • why the heck did this come out in my recommended videos!!??

  • @juan4742 I'm wondering the same thing?

  • @juan4742 LOL

  • @juan4742 LOL same im like wtf...and like its says becuase you watched "quick brown fox jumps over lazy dog" or something...wtf how??!?!

  • this is boring

  • most commonly used for abortions. Most of us are safe, Angel and Loveaable.

  • пишите по русски

  • omg wtf

  • OMG THIS IS FREAKING SCARY....I had my period, do I HAVE TO HAVE TO do it??? I HOPE NOT!!

  • what the fack ?

  • I hope, i don't get this done. *shudders.* Don't put a lady, to sleep. how dare they.

When, i got my first pap smear. my uterus was tilted it. So, the doctor, straighten it out. Most painful ever. i was screaming. (The waiting room, heard me.)

  • @IluvDonnieandJordan r u serious? I've never heard of anyone or any purpose to have this done. Its perfectly normal and a decent percentage of woman have "tilted" one way or the other. u don't have to answer me but I really feel like there had to be a very good reason to do this. I question everything docs do- or r gonna do!

  • @leftyduece @peanutbutterbutt131

This procedure is done to diagnose abnormal bleeding by obtaining a "biopsy" from the scraped tissue... Only a sample is removed, not "the entire lining" as the video incorrectly states. Uterine cancer is the second most common female cancer next to breast cancer- so this is a standard procedure used in suspicious cases that has nothing to do with doing abortions. BTW.. is only done with the woman completely asleep in the OR!

  • @debulker

Generally they scrape the entire lining until they can feel myometrium. If they suspect cancer they will use hysteroscopy to make sure they get it!

  • No matter how "gentle" she mentioned, it's an extremely painful and unpleasant procedure, seen it with my own eyes. So... Don't do it if you have a choice! >""<

  • @carollyncheeyen do u know what possible reasons someone would "need" this procedure done?

  • @leftyduece if you have a miscarriage, the docs will want to get the tissue out before it can cause an infection. I just found out monday that i have a blighted ovum. a sac with no baby in it. My family and doctor have been trying to pressure me into getting this done. but honestly i'm not going to do it. I am going to take some natural remedies and hope for the best.

  • im fucking crying now in horror o"""o

  • why was this recomended to me by youtube, wtf

anyway people poeple who have an lg ks 360

  • brutal!!!

  • Thank you Jesus lord for making me a man! Amin! ( and i better kill myself insted of a prostate exam)

  • D&C is not just for abortions or miscarriages. I never had an abortion or miscarried a child. I just had a cone biopsy and a D&C. It is good for those women over 30 to have it done especially if you never had a kid before. Over the years there's alot of build-up that needs flushing. They aren't so bad. I'm back on my feet its only been 5 days :)

  • Thats a D&C

  • It is commonly used for abortions, and removing miscarriages(such as molar pregnancy) from the uterus.

  • @mushakal ...me too

  • Fuck yea im male xD

  • i had one done last tuesday and im fine lol its sounds worse then it is

  • @mushakal okay what i associate this with since my mother had to have one is for after miscarriages

  • does D & C cleans the ovary like the Polycystic ovary please help im 30 and i id like to have another child thanks.

  • D & C is done to peel out the endometrium (the inner most lining of uterus) in certain case of abortion or miscarriage. It is also done when there is abnormal bleeding from uterus. As with PCO, D & C does not clean the ovary. You can still conceive even if you have PCO. If you have PCOS, that is ovarian cysts with imbalance in hormones, there are means with which you can still conceive with medical assistance. Consult a gynaecologist for more assistance

  • @123Teenu:

if u had 7 weeks abortion do u still need to go D&C?

  • fuck that

  • this is something i'm not looking forward to in life as a female. scares the shit out of me

  • @darkangel3492 kill urself...

  • @darkangel3492 then dont have an abortion I guess. That's what a d&c is.

  • @darkangel3492 what is this? im a girl && im wondering what this is?

  • @peanutbutterbutt131

This procedure is done to diagnose abnormal bleeding by obtaining a "biopsy" from the scraped tissue... Only a sample is removed, not "the entire lining" as the video incorrectly states. Uterine cancer is the second most common female cancer next to breast cancer- so this is a standard procedure used in suspicious cases that has nothing to do with doing abortions. BTW.. is only done with the woman completely asleep in the OR!

  • @darkangel3492 its not necessary for all just if you have something in there affecting your insides. Maybe a miscarriage that didn't completely come out that's about what I know off the top of my head but I"m in my mid 30's and haven't had one or the near ned for one.

  • @darkangel3492 is this painful?

  • Oh God... ow... =(

  • I have had to have D&Cs because I have had c-sections and then late term miscarriages so the placenta gets stuck to the scar tissue. Hasn't happenned since 2004 though. Got my tubies tied. :)

  • Stop arguing! A D&C can be used for diagnostic (cancer, irregular bleeds, fibroids) and for therapeutic reasons (early miscarriage) but IS NOT used as a method for abortion, they use either suction curettage or D&E (dilation and evacuation)--- hope this clears things up!

  • see boys girls do have it worse haaaa

  • I beg to differ. A D & C can be done if there is irregular bleeding, do to Fibroids or pre-cancerous conditions. It is also done because the lining of the Uterus becomes to thick, causing bleeding.

  • dear people plz start researching before comments.... a d & c is peformed in 90% of the cases after a early miscarriage.. ie before 12 weeks .. not for uterine cancer {thats a smear} as some may suggest and neither to clear excess gunk. it is performed to remove the dead foetus... to prevent infection. i hear you ask what makes me so clever on the matter ... i have unfortunately suffered two miscarriages myself and had to go through this torture. and plus studying nursing for two years helps.

  • ohh the scraping of the lining sounds painful

  • WOOW LOOKS PAINFULL!

  • a d&c involves no abortions what so ever. its to test for cervical/uterine cancer...idiots.

  • The video is about removing excess gunk from the uterus, it is NOT an abortion procedure as many comments seem to suggest.

  • i heard of beads before but this has gone too far.

  • one way that people take the lives of the innocent unborn, who have no say in the matter. :(

  • no not an abortion this is the followup after a lost pregnancy or abortion to remove engorged tissue and placenta that was intended to support a fetus. No longer necessary the tissue needs to slough off naturally or be removed. not a vagina its in a uterus. Ps abortion is legal , deal with it.

  • is that vagina?

  • Bleckk... Why was this a recommended video for me again?

  • same here.. i dont even look up anything like this.. most i watch is music videos on here.. o_O

  • could someone explain why this would be needed?

  • leftover tissues in miscariages and stuff

  • ive had this done, it doesnt hurt. I had it done cause Aunt flow was screwy.....

  • Ouuuuuuchhhhhhhhhhh!

  • D&C isn't abortion....when a women is having a miscarriage they do the D&C to make sure everything has passed. The baby is already gone. Hosptials don't do abortions unless it's life or death.

  • For those asking why you were recomended this.

    I ask.

Have you looked at any medical vids?

    Any vids concerning abortion?

    Or anything concerning female anatomy?

I say the second because D&C basically the most common abortion method. Only slight differences between a D&C and a D&C abortion.

  • Dr. House could have told you the result of the analysis without even doing a thing. He is the MAN.

  • YEAH! :D HOUSE ROCKS! When I grow up i wanna be just like him. : ' ) lol minus the messed up leg and vicodin addiction. :D

  • When a doctor says something will be uncomfortable, expect it to hurt like hell!!

  • hihi.... not always like that.. :-)

  • Me gustaría mucho que alguien pudiera subtitular este video, porque todas las mujeres debemos saber perfectamente esta información para cuidar nuestra salud. Bye!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • If you have done any searches on women's health/anatomy this comes up as recommend, if well, then YouTube just thought you should know.

That is a little odd, but hey more info the better right?

I have been part of a surg team that has done thousands of D&C's and this is a reasonable reenactment. I give it a "C" (not a D) hehe

Oh and yes, most women take pain meds but often we just try to talk them through it too.

  • yum... im hungry!

  • WTF?

  • why did youtube recommend this?

  • looks painfull

  • its very painful if we dont use any analgesic drugs.. :-) Btw.. there are many types of anelgesics to prevent dis kind of sensation.. hihi.. and we use it in medical..

  • Why did youtube reccomend me this?

  • only you'd know that

  • wtfff y is this reccomended... made me cringe!

  • That looks painful

  • They knock you out for it and if you have a good doc you wont have any pain when they wake you up.

  • hmm.... usually we just use local analgesics.. not general.. so the women will be in good consiousness but without any pain.. :-)

  • Where do they inject you to numb you though? Thats what puts me on edge.. :-|

  • we have many method of anelgesic.. the most common method is using epidural anelgesic.. they inject some drugs into ur spine.. the the drug will block pain sensation in abdominal area.. so that can reduce pain during labor.. i mean whether labor via vagina or ceserian section (cut in the abdomen)

  • damm, youtube recomend this, WHY WHY WHY

  • PERVERT

  • me? lol half the men in here saying "how did i get recommended this" typed "vagina" in their youtube search. lol

  • i no wtf. it was recommended 4 me 2.

  • i love cervix:D

  • why in the hell did they reconmend this to me

  • you to?

  • where is the next part of this??

i think it sucks that these videos are pt 1 and 2 and just 40 sec long...seems like someone wasnt smart enough to upload the entire thing together

  • W T F!!!

  • I just had a D&C for dysfunctional uterine bleeding. A D&C is used in abortion but abortion is not to only use for D&C. I am very pro-life and would never have a D&C to abort much less abort period! I had/have a bleeding problem and when hormone therapy hasen't worked the next step my doc used was D&C. Abortion is a horrible thing and it's sad that when a women gets treatment for something since the aborton industry uses D&C people think thats what she getting a D&C for.

  • I have dysfunctional uterine bleeding aswell i didnt know that a d&c can be used for testing ? intresting!

  • Yeah. The D&C worked and I am no longer bleeding. I had heavy bleeding for a total of 7 weeks!! From what I know the patholigist didn't find any abnormal cells in the tissue they tested. My doc also did the camera into the uterus thing and didn't find any abnormailties. He said it was most likely my hormones didn't regulate after having a baby in Oct and then quitting breastfeeding around jan-feb.

  • Why all the comments on abortion? This is probably a check for cervical cancer or infection.

  • Abortion procedures are based on obscuring their horror.

The safest way, especially for late-term abortions, is to induce labor. Why operate through some hole when you don't have to?

But that would leave a living baby on the table.

    Sick

  • Actually, a zygote is NOT something "necessary" to "form" a human being. It IS a human being.

A zygote is a developing human being at its earliest stage.

"I suspect you believe that masturbation is murder as well."

Actually, according to your description, sex resulting in pregnancy would also constitute murder as there are millions of sperm that do not fertilize anything, die and disintegrate.

Sperm do not constitute human beings. They are a component, not a complete person.

  • For any who support abortion, please watch the following video and comment on why you support the activity it depicts:
