  • my brother just came from CBT he went to bootcamp and came out as a Differnt person. I <3 my brother. Semper Fi!!

  • her marine is a orospuçocuğudur. Aqmun american götleri.

  • I find it hard to believe that there are people that claim the title but dont actually have weapons cards

  • While every Marine is a trained basic rifleman, 0311s actually ARE Riflemen, the bread and butter of the Marine Corps Infantry. This term is sort of demeaning to the Rifleman MOS in my opinion, as not every Marine has earned the 0311 position.

  • cool video, musch respect to you sailors!!! i respect all airmen, soldiers, navy & marine sailors! take care guys.

  • Semper Fi

  • Home of the brave, and home of the tough, Semper Fi "Always faithful" and that's no bluff! They're mighty and true, they protect our freedom for me and you. Honor Courage and commitment is what they're taught to do. It's all about protecting the red, white and the blue! Marines will never retreat, break or bend, they're ready to fight, attack and defend. I respect our military, and proud to say,God Bless this country and our brave men and women everyday, I'M PROUD TO BE AMERICAN, I LOVE THE USA !

  • Every Marine is NOT a rifleman

  • @MrMonteroMA LIES!!!

MAybe in the Army you can get yourself a job as a cook and never have to learn how to be a warrior but every marine is expected to fight no matter his MOS.

  • @madhippy3 I'm pretty sure I saw all the pogues sitting in bases and camps eating three meals a day and having the privilege of hot running water in Iraq. I know that there are some exceptions and I do not intend to make a blanket statement because we couldn't operate out there without support, but trust me, every Marine is NOT a rifleman. A couple of weeks at MCT does not make you a rifleman.

  • @MrMonteroMA

if only we could re-organize the Corps around 60,000 like the royal Marines.

we can give the POG jobs to civilians, that way we can fire them if they fuck up our pay

  • @madhippy3 going to the rifle range for a week to qual once a year ain't being a warrior. Army pogs do the exact same shit as Marine pogs. No difference. They have to qual also.

  • the difference between the army and marines is that army does all operations: large and small; high and low risk. and the marines sit on a boat talking how they could do a better job. sometimes marines get the opportunity to baby sit an area the army secured then lose control of it cuz theyre incompetent then blow it all to shit (most of the time they beg the army to do it for them) then pretend they're epic heros for finally reaching the status quo again.

  • @himynameissudip shut the hell up you fucking troll. The only reason you don't know shit about what they do is because the government wont let you know what they do. so go blow it out of your ass and stop talking about bullshit you just read online. If you wana really prove something, GO JOIN THE FUCKING GIRL SCOUTS. thats where you seem to truly belong. all you gotta do is look pretty for the rag heads and yell out "FREE BJs!" they'll be rushing to a little bitch like you faster then road runner

  • @himynameissudip You're an idiot.

  • @himynameissudip So you couldn't cut it as a Marine. I don't think for a minute the Army would claim you loud mouth for a second. Don't drink and post!

  • @himynameissudip Army is slow as hell, its to big and there training is for people looking for the EASY way out of real training. Thats why when shit hits fan marines are calle on to mobilize into areas that are to hot for the army. We make do with less (because for some reason the gov't thinks the airforce needs more money for more planes) and we always come through!

OORAH! FIGHT LONG, FIGHT HARD, AND NEVER DIE, SEMPER FI!!!

  • @madhippy3 give me one real example. the army saw combat in astan while the marines were benched in the south. the army got to baghdad first, the marine commander was relieved of command for being so slow. the army was went to baghadad where 40% of the population, the marines went to anbar. the army secured baghdad 9 months into the surge. the marines asked the army to assault in to fallujah athe army is now khandhar, the home of the taliban. actions not words. go army.

  • @himynameissudip

there's less than 45,000 Marine grunts, they cant be everywhere, nothing is within our control and even our leaders cant secure the best deployments for us

theres bullshit we have to deal with down to the lowest fire team level

you think we're not sick of this shit?

  • @Sturmmann well that does suck, and im not saying usmc doesnt have to deal with bs. it has to deal with the most bs of ne branch. that said, if they dont deploy to important areas, they dont. its simple as that. you gotta do the work for the glory.

  • @madhippy3 i respect marines just like i respect anyone that serves. but the marine corps doesnt fight long, but perphaps it does hard tho. it does not always come thru. the marines failed in fallujah, until the army cav came to assault for them. the marines failed all over al anbar, the army picked up the pieces while doing its on job in the rest of iraq. look at astan right. helmand is irrelevant. its a stronghold. the borderland and khandar are what matter. thats where the army is.

  • @himynameissudip

Talking shit out of your ass... where do you get your knowledge from? your seniors who think they are gods gift to the world? Your service to this country is a disgrace

  • @himynameissudip boot....

i love anyone from any branch talking shit and they haven't even deployed or been in combat yet? Whats your ribbon stack like? 2 ribbons?

  • @farhan007 that goes for anyone... I laugh my ass off when boot grunts talk shit about the army or pogs and yet tehy have done shit in there career thus far.

  • @himynameissudip I have been in the Corps for 3 years and i have never been on a boat.

  • Navy corpsmen in grunt units are more of a riflemen than a I-paq Marine

  • This video is another reason POGs should have respect. A Grunt isn't more of a Marine than a cook. They all do some Grunt work, and get their asses shot at. And its not just grunt work thats important, without motor-t the Corps wouldn't be supplied for battle, without their aviators they wouldn't have air support to kill hidden insurgents, without the Navy, the Marines wouldn't have medical support, without the armor, the Corps wouldn't have heavy support, thank you all!

  • @USMCjunior117 lol at"asses shot at" means you do the same work as a grunt... Tell me the next time you see a cook or a motor-t guy do a foot patrol to recieve contact on purpose, or a raid, or a ambush patrol.... Just because you were in a convoy and and a few pop shots come your way does not mean your a grunt. It is not the same as a grunt who walks 5 miles on foot with 100+ pounds of shit on him in 120 degree weather in shitty terrain and gets into a L shaped ambush from the Taliban.

  • @farhan007 I wouldn't know, but I know some AAVers acting as Grunts in Afghanistan. Doesn't make their job best [Grunts],without POGs or Grunts, the Corps wouldn't be around.

  • @USMCjunior117

actually alot of pog jobs can easily be converted to civilian contractors. Its just you have to pay them more.

  • Comment removed

  • Here is my experience with cooks. We were 5 months into deployment in Marjah, Afghanistan. We already had 17 kia.... but it became winter and our AO became quite. Everyone in our company besides a few headquarter guys and our 2 cooks earned their combat action ribbon. They just chilled in the fob the entire deployment. The cooks and the headquarter guys became jealous and the headquarters platoon sergeant urged our CO for the cooks to push out on a "patrol".

  • @USMCjunior117

They "heard pop shots" and "opened fire" in a random ass direction.... Came back and the CO put in their after action reports for the combat action ribbon. Yup, now please tell me that cooks do the same thing as grunts.

  • @farhan007 Thats pretty much whats going on in Afghanistan with some types of pogs like tankers (since their MOS is no use there) & grunts are doing the same shit.

  • @USMCjunior117

nope... they maybe do convoys.... but a convoy is totaly different from a foot patrol or a raid or ambush patrol which grunts are doing in Marjah

  • - My rifle and myself are the defenders of my country. We are the masters of our enemy. We are the saviors of my life. So be it, until victory is America's and there is no enemy, but peace!

We have all sworn that creed before god. And you may not take the honor of our sworn duty away with ignorant acronyms and words. They fall on deaf ears. Because I have too been fired apon and my life along with the lives of my fellow Marines threatened. Wisen up and be thankful of the support we get.

  • @nyquildays

cool story bro... let me guess you were on a convoy. Tell me the next time you go on a ambush patrol or a movement to contact patrol on foot. Difference between grunts and non grunts is we actively seek out and destroy the enemy. You guys go on resupply mission doing your best to avoid contact and just happen to be unfortunate and receive some pop shots.

  • @farhan007 You don't know what I've been through any more than I know you. I didn't say I was on convoy. I'm just more partial to the supply like chow, water, and mail. You know the shit we enjoy and take for granted until it runs out because a convoy took a few pop shots. My brother, my mother's son lost his life bringing that shit to us. So I kinda take offense when loud mouth bastards get a chip on their shoulder and act like their unit, section, or mos could survive without the rest.

  • @nyquildays

its not about surviving without the rest. Its about certain MOS's saying they do the exact same thing as grunts. No you don't. You support us and we need your support. Its not a question of grunts saying" We don't need support". Only a boot grunt would think that.

  • @farhan007 They don't do the same thing as us on a regular basis. But if need be don't you think they could pick up a rifle and accomplish missions? I do. Some POG units are higher risk of loss of life and or limb than what we do. Does it make them more bad ass? Certainly not but you don't see them loud mouthing other MOS's.

  • @nyquildays nope they couldn't... from personal experience dealing with fet teams and cooks. We had to slow down for a FET chick because she was falling out of a patrol where we were receiving contact... She was carrying a god damn m4... There were many other occurrences similar to that in my deployment. If you honestly think its as simple as picking up a rifle and fighting you obviously haven't been there and done that.

  • @farhan007 Well just keep complaining and acting like you know me. I'm personally sick of your fucking belly aching shit bird. I've told my piece.

  • Comment removed

  • This looks just like LazerTag and Paintball orientation...

    Except with real guns...and bullets....

    xD

  • "you got to the army if you want to go to college you join the marines to fight for your country"

hahaha more like go to the army if you wanna serve your country (15 months tours vs 6). go to the marines if you spend more time at home, splitting time between telling people that you're a marine and ragging on the army

  • @himynameissudip except that a Marine that has only been through one enlistment period of just 4 years is likely to a combat deployment 3 times.

  • @farhan007 are you kidding me? thats a max of 2. thats 12 months. thats about 2/3 what a soldier wood do if he gets deployed once.

  • @himynameissudip

first off you guys get leave time in between your deployments. Second, look where most of the Marine unit's AO's are and where the Army's AO's are. We generally have the more dangerous zones in Helmend province. Look in Iraq. All the fiercest battles were fought by Marines. Marine Corp is not meant for long deplyoments. The branch is meant for rapid deployment to brand new hot zones. The Army comes after the dust settles.

  • @farhan007 are you serious? baghdad was secured by the Army, every place important was secured by the Army. Fallujah, the place that was suppose to the Marine's new Hue? 4 of the 5 assaulting units were from the Army. same with Ramadi. Marines use Army to kick in their doors. Who got to Baghdad first? the Army. Now lets look at Astan, Khandar, the center of Taliban ops, not a Marine for miles. What about the Marines AO in Helmand. . The army assisted in the invasion and left after the fighting

  • @himynameissudip

you are spewing shit out of your asshole... The battles in Fallujah were Marine lead offensives.... hence the far greater Marine casualties. In Afghanistan Marines are in Marjah which was the biggest and most dangerous offensive in Afghanistan since the war has begun. please... and your reference to embassys and the white house are a joke. The Marines stationed there are small in number and are in the B-billet. They are not in the fleet or an infantry unit.

  • @himynameissudip

Marines in the fleet(where most Marines are stationed) are either in 2 types of deployments. Combat deployments in Afghanistan(only Army deals with the low risk situation that is going on in Iraq) or a MEU(Marine expeditionary unit). A MEU is on a Naval carrier and travals around the world. Guess what they are meant for.... Rapid first response deployments to brand new hot zones. The army has nothing like that. Lol at Germany..... and Saudi Arabia. Are you serious.

  • Comment removed

  • @himynameissudip

You expect the third reich to have a resurgence any time soon? It is well known that Marines have the more dangerous deployments. Pelase don't try to argue or you will just look plain silly.

  • @farhan007 1. its normal spew shit from ur asshole. 2. the army was placed in germany to counter communism in the cold war, not neo nazi. ur joke shows how much of a tard you are. 3. name a time in the last 25 yrs a meu has landed for nething was humanitarian missions. ya i thought so. 4 the marine had more kias in fallujah cuz they wer getting their asses kicked and had to beg for the army to come save them. thats why the army unit there got the presidential cit. while no marines units did.

  • @farhan007 And you dont see the Empire of Japan attacking American soil anymore do you. Ya you can thank The USMC for that!

PS a little history lesson the Soviet, British, and other Allies took Germany TOGETHER. If I might speak blunt it really wasnt America that defeated Nazi Germany but the Soviets. Soviets made the push into Berlin and the allies on the Western front took the heat off of the Eastern Front. God Bless those Damned Commies...

  • @farhan007 died down. Where were the Marines during the invasion of Astan. sitting with thier thumbs in their asses in South while the Army jumped into Bagram and flushed out the Tabilan out of the mountains. The Army does its job then picks up slack for the Marines. The Marines are just a sideshow, the worst of both worlds right now. Not armored even to invade quickly, and not light enuff to fight in the mountains. Marines are for guarding, and reserve thats ship borne

  • @farhan007 just look at the places where each branch is in defensive positions. marines: the white house, embassies. important places that will never be attacked. army: the korean dmz, saudi arabia, germany. places where there might actually be a war. i aint saying the marines dont serve, but certainly dont risk and give even a fracture of the amount that soldiers do.

  • if every Marine is a rifleman then what are 0311s? super rifleman?

  • @farhan007 you bet.. haha

  • @farhan007 Nope, they just to get run a little more & get down in the dirt!!LOL

  • A cousin of mine was recently in the Marines. He served a tour of duty in Iraq working on helicopters. Another cousin of mine is in the Navy. He's currently on a guided-missile destroyer. Also, both of my grandfathers were in the armed forces during World War II - one in the Army, the other in the Navy.

  • 5 People were Army Infatry, and wished they where Marines :D

  • @xboxguy1694 Army grunt> Marine pog... this is coming from a Marine grunt.

  • @ trejay clearly you're not one of the Few the Proud

  • every marine is a riflemen? wow thats the biggest crock of shit ive ever heard.....just because you used a rifle in boot camp doesnt make u a riflemen. so you're saying females and pogs are riflemen? haha what a joke. marine corps loves to fill peoples heads with a buncha bullshit

  • @TreJay

alot of POGs arent even issued weapons cards, yet claim the title of Marine

  • Who gives a shit about which branch is better, in the end we're all American fighting for one common objective. And for the people who think the US Army is weak, please, PLEASE consider our combat arms MOS, Airborne Rangers, and US Army Special Forces ( Green Berets ).

  • @B7ACKNEONder

Your ignorance speaks so loudly I can’t hear what your saying.

You should because we're the ones feeding them.

    Thank you Marines!!

  • @TellTheMarines OORAH!!!

    you tell him

  • @B7ACKNEONder You dirtbag you left this very same comment on another Marine vid. Get a life.

  • @B7ACKNEONder if you dont give a fuck why did you watch this video???

im watching this video cuz i wanna be a marine and i think they make big sacrifices....

so go fuck yourself you fucking ignorant asshole and keep your opinions to yourself....

oh and by the way you can go feed the malnurished kids now....

and dont watch marine videos cuz u said it would just be wasting your time...

go watch some malnurished kids as they die...

  • @B7ACKNEONder Why should you give a fuck about what ANYBODY'S doing because 30000 children are dying of malnutrition? Go devote your life to ending that problem instead of putting useless bullshit on youtube videos.

  • @B7ACKNEONder You know what makes me sad about your statement.... Is that I wish it was your ass dying of malnutrition 30000 times over then those kids. hahah Fuck you

  • @B7ACKNEONder u watched the video

  • @B7ACKNEONder and yet you watched a video about the marines

  • @B7ACKNEONder dickhole

  • @B7ACKNEONder What are you doing for those kids? I'd suppose less than what one half of the rest of the world is doing for those kids.

  • @B7ACKNEONder fuck you

  • @svb112233 and telling by your videos, you seem like a COD kid instead of a Royal Marines Commando... You don't even Capitalize Marines. Most Marines would take offense to that.

  • @svb112233 Hmm... interesting point of view.. England switches Royal Marines with our American Marines every now and then to exchange training with one another, and they always told us that they never had to train that hard in their life... maybe they were just being modest >< either way, both good stuff.

  • Sadly, every Marine is NOT a rifleman these days. It is ROUTINE to award additional points to those failing their qualifying shoots. The fact is a cook or a secretary doesn't need to be a rifleman. Hate me, but this is the truth.

  • every Marine that is not a grunt is a pog... that should be the new slogan

  • @farhan007 What's wrong with being a POG? Someone has to handle the ammo.

  • @sh4rpsh0t33 yeah....some pussy has to

  • @TreJay Lol. What makes him a pussy? Maybe he just likes that job more. Everyone has their own preference. Not to mention, infantry is the most sought after MOS, so often times they have little choice.

  • @TreJay ok so all POGs are pussys, go win the war without food, water, ammunition, air support, transport, intelligence, medical knowledge, and so on. Good luck let us know when its done.

  • Best ones out there! "Semper Fidelis"

  • Wow.. All of you are really, really, really HOT!

  • Semper Fi dogs make Chesty proud of u never dishonor our beloved Corps in battle

Marines do not surrender we fight to the death and we have a proud history to prove that (2nd Bn 8th Marines)

  • These Marines do look a lot prettier than us old salts did.

But the look in the eyes is the same.

They sacrifice as much or more than we did.

The Marines of today are carrying on a “Legacy of Valor”

    Keep Attacking!!

    Semper Fi!

  • @TellTheMarines thanks brother every marine every where is my brother

  • they look alot sweeter than we of the older corps.. but that is a media game.. hahahahah.. as Chesty Puller said " old corps . new corps.. who gives a damn.. as long as it is MARINE CORPS..

Semper "Fi my young devil dogs.. do your duty as all of us before you have.

  • horah Marine Corps!

  • actually every marine is tought how to use a rifle

  • not every marine is not a rifle men my bro is in the marines he had a m249 saw stupid retard

  • @josh123mohikasurf - Even if the M249 weren't called an "automatic RIFLE," surely you know that your brother (like all Marines) is required to be proficient with the M16 service rifle and has periodic examinations on the KD course. Oh wait, you didn't know that? Then SHUT UP and quit calling people "RETARD"!

  • Semper Fi Devil Dogs!

    Infantry all the way

  • the training between enlisted and OCs is so different

  • CUTE

  • no you're not. only 0311's are fuck everybody else.

  • semper fi!

  • yeaaaa buddy

  • hopefully my m16 can retrieve my magazine to grease up those leaf trees to ball ak47 to 37 if you know what i mean i your a marine

  • damn hopefully my battalion will let me train with the marines in hawaii this december

  • Who here remembers Geiger Tiger????? LMAO

  • god i wish it was that easy. but in england its a lot harder :). i have came home from Afghanistan and have meet a lot of cool Americans. i was in DG 168 squadron in the royal marine commandos and we had to help the Americans out once because they had been ambushed it was pretty awesome, tank god no one died. and we had 6 confirmed kills and fount 9 assault riffle ans some RPG-9 with ammunition.

  • Thanks for helping out our boys over there, we would do the same for you brother Marine.

    Semper Fidelis

    USMC Vet

  • Waivers can be given for asvab, criminal record, medical, drug use, tatoos. Etc.

It all just depends on how many bodies are needed that month.

I served with great marines and scumbags.

Looking back on it, its just a numbers game and anyone can finish bootcamp if the bodies are needed.

    0311

    1996-2000

    Camp pendleton

  • Dude I'd fucking kill to be a Marine. Imagine you are an American, who's every bone aches to be a Marine. Sounds horrible?

Only problem is I'm not an American...and they wont let me in.

  • i served with mexians a canadian who got there green card part way threw there 4 year enlistment. maybe things have changed. or you could move here and become a citizen

  • Well man, I even phoned the marines and they said 'not without a green card' how do I get a green card? you need an employer to sponsor you they said

will you sponsor me?. no. they said. You know, Britain is a western country too, I'd be a good Marine you know...it's not really fair, I'd do the job for free man, I love everything about it and the American way. They need soldiers, here I am! But no.I'm sending a letter to the commandant anyway...Marines don't give up when the going gets tough.

  • The corps should sponsor me, because they WILL BE MY EMPLOYER! Of course it's not easy to get in the corps - we wouldn't want some haji to train with us, now do we? I feel the same way as you, they wouldn be disappointed, and i'm not giving up! i already live in the US for 3 month a year, why won't they give me the greencard :(

  • The U.S Military WILL not and CANNOT assist in any way with immigration. They will NOT sponsor you.

I thought the same mate, but it's impossible! It's a catch-22! It's my life dream, I'd rather die in the Corps than live a full life in Scotland...

  • i know it was just kinda wishful thinking!

anyway: I#m getting deployed again in september! maybe I#ll meet some marines who had the same problem i have...

  • @ShitMovies2000 well your not a Marine so you could give up all you want. and if you want to earn the title get it right, its Marine, not soldier.

  • @ShitMovies2000 Thing is, you aren't a Marine. And the Corps doesn't need "soldiers," it needs Marines. Notice the capitol 'm'. If you think you have what it takes though, do what you have to do. You seem to have the drive and commitment, although that can always change. Work hard and improve yourself and you might have what it takes.

  • they will you just need to be a legal citizen. Im gonna move from australia.

  • Not true, they take on green card holders also, and it isn't easy getting citizenship.

  • Every US Marine gets 13 weeks of training at boot camp, then goes on to get trained after that. The Marines aren't just a name, they have provem themselves in combat over and over again. No we haven't really won wars on our soil after the american revolution because nobody will attack us. Hell, our marine core could probably defeat half our enemies alone

  • Every marine is a rifleman :D Why do you marines take pride in that? Here in Finland EVERY soldier and conscript in the army, airforce and navy is a rifleman! Shit, even our generals are riflemen... You marines get a training of 13 weeks, right? Every finnish soldier gets trained for at least 6 months, it's compulsory, and we don't even get paid! Our conscript NCOs (who train for 12 months) have a harder training program than your marines :D Marines bragg around alot, I find it sad.

  • Yeah, but who's Marine Corp is stronger?

  • We don't have marines -.- We have coastal infantry and -jaegers, who actually train to fight on the coastal area. So to answer you question, your (I suppose you're an american) marine corp is stronger compared to ours, since we don't have one.

But just as I stated earlier, most of our conscripts would eat your marines as breakfast. I don't hear us yelling around how great and badass we are, why should you?

Sounds a bit like marines have some self-esteem issues...

  • That's nice. Win a war. Marines have confidence.

  • We win wars, on our OWN soil. We don't need to boost our confidence by waging war on other countrys soil.

If you wanna know what being confident and brave is, read about the battle of Tali-Ihantala.

  • 13 weeks vs 6 months of training may sound nice and all. But, experience and tactics is what keeps a war machine well oiled and working.

You can go ahead and make your claim that the Finnish are better, and we'll do the same. But, when you look at modern history, you'll see that it is the US Marines that have cemented themselves in world history.

There is a difference between training hard and long and training smart and efficiently.

  • So now you're saying we don't have experience? Experience and well learned tactis come with time and repetition, that's all I need to say.

US marines cemented themselves on history because they come from USA. Everyone in Europe knows what happens in the US, so that is why we know what marines are and what they've done. People in USA don't know a thing about anybody else than themselves, and that is why you propably haven't heard about finnish soldiers and their greatness (+ we don't bragg...)

  • I never said the Finnish did not have experience. It's just that the US has more.

Jonepho: "Every marine is a rifleman :D Why do you marines take pride in that?"

Marines should take pride in what they do for their country. We fight for our land just as Finnish soldiers do for theirs. We have a deep understanding of a warrior culture. And, US service members do actually discuss otherr nations forces. Our European allies are an excellent asset.

  • You might want to check your facts. Your basic length of service ranges from 6, 9, or 12 months. How could every one of the members of your military be trained for six months? 13 weeks is only the beginning of training for every Marine. How long did you serve? Have you served yet? Have you been to a combat one? I really don't think you've had any experience with any US Marine yet to be able to argue what you are arguing.

  • And you might want to learn to read -.- Look again, I said every Finnish soldier gets trained for AT LEAST 6 months! Do you understand?

No, I haven't served yet. It'll be 6 more months before I get to go in the army. And no, I haven't had any personal experience with US marines.

But, do you even know what I'm arguing about? Please don't come here and tell me not to argue if you don't even give rationalized answers to the arguments that I provided here.

  • I DO know what you are arguing about. I think it's pretty sad that you are arguing something with which you have no experience. I am a US Marine and was TRAINED initially for NINE months. I haven't stopped training since. I DO have something to argue about. Every Marine is continually trained. The training never stops. I do not discount that the Finnsih army is well trained and ready to fight.

  • hoorah marines!! its an honor to battle alongside the marines as their corpsman, i may not be a rifleman, but i am always here to save their lives

  • not everybody can do good for his country only the few and the brave, if you want the world to see you join in the marines and youll see whats behind that title

  • i got this video in my DEP kit

  • Airforce all the wayy

  • ...and then you enter the fleet...

  • Bingo!

  • I trained tons of grunts in day/night fire and I was a POG. I never met any grunt that scored higher than me on the range. I was a 62....I was with 2/8 in the invasion 03...what kind of job did you get when you got out? I never had ANY complaints on patrols with 2/8 when we had wounded...AMAZING all the trucks stood side by side in NAZ and were decorated. You stood side by side, your a pussy.

  • Well bro as marines u know we all talk shit for fun it cures boardom action s speak louder than words brother its all in good fun semper fi

  • Btw Im was not just a grunt but i am currently a scout/sniper And I am about a year away from a bachelors degree =) i just like to give pogs shit but we need u guys

  • Your the man pdsmith, YOU are what the Marine Corps is all about. These loudmouth fucks who think their shit doesn't stink because of their MOS should join the Army.

    It takes a team.

I'm 56, a few years after I was discharged from the corps I joined USAF, Pararescue. I was the first Marine to make it through the pipeline.

The funny thing is that I ALWAYS considered myself a Marine first.

These shitbirds who try to steal the honor of any Marine is nothing but a partial Marine.

    Semper Fi

  • @winemkr The army promises the you MOS you choose while in the marines you have to earn your MOS and chances are you will be stuck doing something you didnt pick nothing is eas in the marine Semper Fi you got to the army if you want to go to college you join the marines to fight for your country

  • @tetrafin917 That's really brilliant of the higher-ups though. Get all these kinds all pumped up on Modern Warfare and stuff, and put Recon and UAV Operator and all the cool stuff on their contract. Then when they can't hack it, make em Food Service Specialists. Hahaha...

  • @tetrafin917 Army Combat Arms MOS defiently do a great job. People who enlist in the Combat Arms branch know there going into harms way but they do it because they want to fight for there country. So thats not entirely accurate. But alot of people do enlist to be POGs in the Guard and Reserves just to reap college benifts.

  • @tetrafin917 "you got to the army if you want to go to college you join the marines to fight for your country" Really? Because I actually joined the Army TO fight for my country. I told the recruiter I wanted to be a Grunt, and they happily gave me the 11Bravo. I had a friend join the Marine corps as some POGs. They bought into the "im a badass cause im a marine" thing, even though there just some MP reservist. I tink its funny actually.

  • @boscogump trust me... majority of Marine grunts respect Army infantry more than Marines in the pog field.

  • @tetrafin917 And the funniest thing is, that while theyre in college trying to get pussy using the "im a Marine" line. I'll be in the "Valley of Death" in Afghanistan. "you got to the army if you want to go to college you join the marines to fight for your country" FUCK YOU, and all the civies who give you false praise. YOU'VE DONE NOTHING, AND YOU NEVER WILL. Im tired all you idiotic shits. (11B Infantryman. 25th division. 3rd brigade combat team. 2nd Battalion 35th Infantry regiment.)

  • @boscogump lmao Best of luck to you in the ARMY stay safe

  • @winemkr Semper Fi Winemkr...Everything we do is MARINE CORPS, we can't help but not! 2 ways to do things..the "wrong way"...and the "MARINE CORPS WAY"!

  • @pdsmith11803

Haha, when the hell did you train grunts with night fires? I only remember being trained by pogues once, and that was during boot camp, where i didn't really learn shit. Sounds to me like you just stapled targets at CAX or something.

  • I am not trying to get into a fucking whos dick is bigger fight with you bro...I earned my Bronze Star...POG or not... with an infantry company. I am a POG and I earned my right to talk as much as you...we should be giving each other props...Semper Fi?

  • Hell yeah man bronze star... hoofuckingrah nothing i can say to that well done

  • my son was in al asad and got home a couple weeks ago....i got news for you shorttimer... they put their life on the line everyday.....being away from home family etc is not a party......tax free pay that is the LEAST we can do for our marines or any service embers for that matter..........a very proud marine mom

  • let me tell you marinemom, your warrior was on al asad, a base that's safer than American soil. POG!!!! tell him welcome home, he's a brother even though he's not a grunt.

  • 36 I believe is the lowest it can be

  • whats the asvab score to be in the marines infantry?

  • You have to write your name

  • @killfoot19 Marine infantry is one of those jobs where any joe can join but many can't handle. Why do you think before any deployment so man men in grunt units drop out and become part of the rbe unit.... Then you have those few who actually make it on deployment and bitch about combat stress and are taken out of the front lines.

  • every marine is not a rifleman, these pogues do this shit for a couple weeks and then spend the rest of their 4 years sitting around wasting tax dollars and doing a half ass job of supporting us grunts who are in a world of shit

  • you can speak for a few MOS's, but im an ordnance technician in the wing and we loaded and armed 465,000 lbs of ordnance by hand out of al asad, so dont say we are waisting tax dollars, those airstrikes werent for nothing. I cant deny that we wouldnt do nearly as good as an 03 in combat, but we still do our part

  • Your not a rifleman, you sound more like the equivelent of a factory worker.

-You eat better in Iraq then grunts eat in the US, KBR chow costs a bundle.

-You get tax free combat pay, despite the fact that your never in danger in Al Asad.

-If you stay in a 2 man can, again... your living better then grunts do in the US, a lot of whom are in squadbays.

Thats a crazy waste of tax dollars.

  • i never said we lived any better, your grunts, its kinda common fucking sense you live worse than us. Thanks for the fresh info though, very useful

  • my point is that the luxuries you have in lush FOB's like al asad, are a waste of tax dollars, as well as the fact that you recieve danger pay despite facing no real danger

  • well im sure you could bring that up with someone like a CO or something and see if they can do something about making our life more miserable but as for me, not much i can do. We just do our job bc someone has to do it. And working out of FARP's isnt as luxerious as you may think, although before you say it, i know it isnt as bad as doing your whole 03 thing

  • Is it true that US Americans don´t have a compulsory military service !? Muhahaha
