  • Nice!

  • what do you use to play a vic 20 a joy stick or the keybard?

  • @mariomanty2 Some games can be played with the keyboard. And often you need the keyboard to set options or start the game. But most games I play with a joystick.

  • I am really intrigued by this cart, seems this and a VIC 20 is all you need.

  • Cool. I just have a hard time imagining playing the Vic 20 on a huge 52 inch television. I love it though.

  • hey marlin, try getting "The Count" for the vic-20.

  • Hey Marlin, I finally got to see on of your videos. Good stuff! I'll see ya later. Send me an e-mail if you get a chance. I don't have your e-mail address.

  • You looked very dangerous with that knife

  • I must say Marlin I did get my Vic-20 just from this video, I can't wait to get it next week but I don't have the RF Switchbox and I have to find one soon. Great video, cheers!

  • @OldSchoolNYCGamer As long as you have the RF modulator and a modern TV you don't need a switchbox. All you need is an RCA to coax adapter.

  • Haha destructions. Dig Dug was looking good! I would love to have a copy of that mega cart!

  • Was or is there anything like this for the coco?

  • I've never heard of anything like this for the CoCo. If there were I would think it would have been mentioned on the coco3 site.

  • I did notice this on the site this morning:

"Plug and Play Pak Upcoming cartridge instantly gives the CoCo 256 floppy disks and a massive NitrOS-9 hard drive all in a small game pak sized cartridge. No moving parts and its fast! "

What do you make of this Marlinlee? Is this some kind of programable cart that you hook up to a pc, load it, and plug it into a coco?

  • If it is a game pak there wouldn't be any way to hook it directly to the PC. Looks like it contains solid state memory. So if the memory is removable it might be possible to program the memory on a PC.

  • Marlin, i love your videos man. you rock! brings back old memories :) keep it up dude

  • I have serial No 139 and I also made an unboxing video. What serial do you have?

  • I have serial number 133.

  • Wow, I'm the Mega-Cart firmware developer but i've never used the Mega-Cart with a so big screen, I must say the it's very cool ;-)

  • Ok... so now I have to get a VIc20 and the Mega-Cart :-)

  • Very cool video of the unboxing! I cannot wait till my vic 20 comes in the mail :)
