Nice Ray!! I think a lot of people wish they had saved snapshots or archived pages that they now wish they could see.. and by people, yes, i mean me! :)
I just wish archiving devices like external hard discs would live for longer than approx. 3 years... I've started archiving my archives! ..and soon im gonna have to archive that! :/
Great tutorial! The applause in the end is Team Lavie giving you a standing ovation! :))
I just hate to see superstars like yourself miss the opportunity to preserve pieces of their own history. It's literally like the "snapshots" in photo albums that you'll want to look at in future years, for whatever reason.
.
Yes, I hate it when a crowd goes wild for too long with the applause. Thanks and everything, but ENOUGH!
I've always wanted to save all my comments from old yt videos (not necessarily the vids themselves since i own copies). Would this be able to save all comments (say you have a 1000) or do you have to open each page with all the comments individually (if that makes sense?).
@jonmcsingee At the bottom of the "regular" video page, click on "see all" or "View all Comments" and you will get to a page where there are about 500 comments per page. You you should be able to separately archive each page of 500 comments, by cutting and pasting each comment page's URL into webcitation. org.
.
P.S. You can't save the video itself, anyway; just the still pics and the text..
@jonmcsingee Or I should say: at least AS FAR AS I NOW KNOW, on the webcitation. org website, you can't save videos. Maybe sometime in the future some website will take on that challenge.

Thanks, @BekimTV
'Tis a very basic video, but it gets the point across.

Sorry you've lost hard drives. I've been lucky. So far. 8~]
I use a continuous online backup service, but, if a file disappears from my hard drive, it ALSO disappears from their servers after 30 days. Grrr.
Luckily nothing I do is really worth saving!
