  • April 2011--Just went to spring concert tonight---PAUL RARDIN IS LEAVING. So sad. He is going to Temple University to be Director of Choral Activities. SUCH A LOSS!

  • kelclay, i've heard both performances, and unfortunately i'm going to have to disagree with you. i think this version is better. i think SNC sings this way too fast

  • i would love to fin this arrangement

  • Love it! I heard this once before. Where can I find this arrangment?

  • Hello Muziquebox, were you able to find this arrangement? Would appreciate if someone could give pointers ! Thanks.

  • No, still unsuccesful... I really want to find it though, so my group can do it this Christmas season!

  • It was arranged by Richard Gregory circa 1968. Not sure where you can find it, but I hope the name helps!

  • Thanks a lot!

  • If you search the web for university of michigan men's glee club, you will find thier site. There you can order the CD. It is worth it.

  • What would we english know aye?

    we only invented the language

    thank god for americans aye?

  • Um, no. They're not Englishmen. If you actually read the description, you'd see that it's the University of MICHIGAN in ANN ARBOR that are singing. They're just using proper choir pronunciation, which anyone who sang in a concert choir group beyond high school SHOULD have learned.

  • um, if you actually read my comment you would have seen i didn't say they were english XD

  • Um, that one was supposed to be a response to JunRa308 up there. Not you. ;D

  • JunRa308?

  • nice one

  • we tend to modify vowels a little towards an "ee" sound to get a brighter and more resonant tone

  • Undoubtedly fine voices, but I always wonder about their strange pronunciations "pear" comes out and "pea-uh"; "Christmas" as "Chreestmas"---quite bizarre. Anybody have an explanation?

  • I have to agree with kelclay, SNC does it much better.

  • All respect to SNC's version, but the UMMGC does this with a feeling for comedic timing that Straight No Chaser leaves behind in their race toward the finish. Well... maybe.

  • a feeling for comedic timing? wtf dude. SNC did this 10 times better. My boyfriend's in the glee club and trust me, I love UMMGC, but really it's not anywhere near as good as SNC. Granted I do go to IU so maybe I'm just partial but many others agree with me.

  • what's so funny?

  • this is great! i love it

  • lol this is hilarious...i cant stop watching it. It was great to have something put a smile on my face
