Never thought I'd see the day-- Finally found this track from Hughes' "Some Kind of Wonderful". Love it. This is why the internet is awesome. I'd have never located this without the web.

This was a rare B-side single from Propaganda back in the 80's. John Hughes picked the best tunes for his flicks back then, didn't he?

Quizzlefits, too bad I didn't know you were looking for this song. I bought the Wishful Thinking album from Propaganda in 1985 and when Some Kind of Wonderful came out two years later, I was really happy to hear one of my favorite songs from that album used in the opening sequence of the movie. I still have the original Propanda vinyl album as well as the CD version. Great to listen to all the way through!

@quizzlefits I had actually owned the Wishful Thinking LP a couple of years before Some Kind of Wonderful came out. As I'm sitting in the movie theater watching the intro of the movie, all I could do is have a big smile on my face because people were getting to hear something I'd been enjoying for quite some time! It was pretty cool seeing Watts air-drumming along to this awesome track. The whole Wishful Thinking album is excellent and I highly recommend it if you like "Abuse."

I've been looking for this forever. I was always told the opening track to Some Kind Of Wonderful was Dr. Mabuse, but it was never the version i'd heard. This is it. Awesome. Love it.
