I have been following the media on the case quite closely, but I was wondering what hint the police received that Daniel's remains were at the Glass House Mountains? I mean, the area there is huge. Did the arrest of Brett Peter Cowan led them to the area, or what was the indicator?

@baliko2007 they haven't said, no one knows, I THINK I heard them say it didn't come from Brett Peter Cowan, so I can only assume they got a tip from someone with knowledge of the crime (perhaps anonymously).

@FredJohnAlex that's a very interesting theory. I've never heard the police definitively say that more than one person was involved, but they have never ruled it out either. Cowan has also apparently never confessed, and I highly doubt he went to visit the gravesite when he returned to Brisbane for the inquest last year.

However, if you're going to abduct someone in an opportunistic way like how Daniel was abducted, having an accomplice would make it a lot easier.

Unfortunately justice will never truly be served, nothing can bring him back and the pain and suffering of Daniel & his family can never be erased.

Lets just hope this evil being burns in hell eternally when he leaves this world.

Nothing will give justice to the Morcombe family, it can only give them closure. The evil man that did this to Daniel could never be punished enough for his actions, even a death penalty is too good for him, it is an easy way out for him.

If this was in Saudi Arabia, not even a stoning to death could possibly be fit for what devilish untold actions this man would have done onto Daniel.

The remains that were found in the swampland was identified as Daniel Morcombe's. I send my utmost sympathies to the Morcombes. I hope they find more of Daniel's remains. May Daniel finally rest in peace.
