Nice Nice Video. I really loved your video. Youtube can be a great asset for you. If you need any help getting your video exposed, check out this site called tubeviews [dot net] It has really done wonders for me, I have built 3 Channels up with videos at top in position and this is my forth channel i'm going to working on.
A tragedy she never recorded "Just another dream gone wrong". It'a one of her best. I've just watched this again for the umpteenth time since I accidentally discovered Miss Morse a year ago. She's still beautiful, and she still sounds wonderful.
Attention Lee Morse fans! We need to raise a small amount of money before 01.09.08 in order to save Lee's childhood performance venue, the Kooskia Opera House. Please visit SaveTheOperaHouse dotcom and consider a small $5 donation. Remember, Lee pledged to give you her final five dollars back in 1931 when she recorded "I've Got Five Dollars" Here's your golden opportunity to finally return the favor!
Ironically, the gentlemen that is in the clip with the mustache asking Miss Morse to sing sounds so much like the voice of LEON REDBONE, who is a huge advocate of her wonderful yet neglected work....
Thanks for that information, RedHotRag. I am a great fan of Leon Redbone, but I did not know he was a fan of Morse's! You know, though, that makes perfect sense!
She seemed to specialize, it looks like, in a really natural humor that actually seemed to spoof the old-time Hollywood style of film. Really interesting.
Has there ever been a singer so relaxed and natural?
How sad that we don't have film of all her songs.
Life's a dream at best.
Just another dream gone wrong.

It's great to see Lee Morse (and Billy Hillpot from Ben Bernie's band). I like her version of "''taint no Sin".

Wow she sounds like Joan Crawford in the beginning. Her posture and mannerisms are the same. Interesting.

Bill, at the piano is also "Bill" in Miss Morse's "A Million Me's" featurette. I believe he is the "William Philpot" in the credits...

She looks tiny compared to the others! I love her song "I've Got Five Dollars", I wish there was film of that song.

Thanks for uploading these clips of Lee Morse - I've never seen her perform. She was unique, had a lovely voice and was a doll.
