A few of these comedians had 9/11 pieces and the audience was worse than usual, like they were all thinking in unison "oh no this is one of those pieces you have to think about"... slowly they realized "oh its just crappy goofy over the top "let's focus hate on those Muslims because them Muslims are terrorists" ok its good to laugh at this, and it's AMERICAN!"

Using hate and racism in comedy can be a useful tool for a skilled comedian, but if you're just gonna be cheesy about it..

its pretty funny but i agree it is a very taboo subject that wont get as many laughs. people are probably laughing and feel almost bas about it. funny but subjects like this can sometimes be dodged if possible funny though. i would personally not make jokes about this catastrophic event.
