  • I fly mine with all stock , and i,m fine . if you want see me take it of grass , search for

hobby king CL-415 by Ross and you see me doing it . Thanks for sharing .

    Ross from Canada

  • Thanks Baron, I now own a 150$ foam model cause its doing just what you discribed. I will sell it or try one more time either way its going away!

  • Hey Baron, I got the Banana Hobby A10 41.5 inch wing span with 68 mm brushless black lightning version and I found out why the guy was selling it, the CG is wrong bad wrong, thought you had one or knew someone who did and could tell me where the cg works best. Banana Hobby not too helpful after 3 attempts at contacting them, any help would be great.

  • @mreid08 : I totally stopped flying mine. It's now a static model with no electronics in it. I have played with so many CG points and never could find one where the plane was happy. Not only that, the elevator system has flutter issues at different speeds. Im sure they've fixed these issues by now as mine is one of the very first released versions. Between 4 of us (And the other 3 guys are pros) none of us could get that jet to fly right. One minute it was great, then bam, out of control

  • i fucking love that plane!

  • this plane can take off in water go on nitro planes . com and read about it brushless only

  • hereit cost 69.00 at nitro planes here is url

A-10 Thunderbolt II RC Ducted Fan

  • awsome plane and awsome song

  • I had to modify mine because it was under power I use the microjet combo and now it is the a-10 racer : )

I have a cool vid on my channal

  • I have this A-10 brushed,

What brushless fans do you guys recommed I could put in..?

    Thanks

    nice vid

  • @breikin777 : To be honest with you, After I checked out pricing, work to be done and what I'd have to do to put brushless in this plane, it was cheaper and easier to order the BRushless Version instead. If you just put motors in this, the fan blades wont last but a flight or two if youre lucky. Dont forget, if you put brushless motors, you'll need brushless ESC's.

  • @RCRedBaron I just ordered this one brushless. will the stock EDF units have problems ??? what's the size of the EDF units? if it's 55mm each I could always get some edf units from Don's page. and one more thing. If you tried the brusheless version.. what's the flying time on a 2200mah lipo?

  • @pavcon I get 8-10 minutes out of a 2200maH on my Dynam brushless. It has 64mm EDF's. I haven't had any issues really. The elevator is a bit touchy out of the box, but there is a sensitivity adjustment on the stock radio. once you get it dialed in to your liking and flying style its great. Has a lot of speed and needs next to nothing for a runway.

  • maybe you wont to do what I just did with my

(push prop) I have a vid on my channel

    is so cooooooool : )

  • do you know if the steerable front gear works affectively as a rudder? And a great vid too!

  • I bought a SR71 Brushless Banna Hobby plane I have over 15 model this was the worst I have ever tried to fly It was out of the box quick build looked great but no power could not get off the grown crashed on take off I want ythe large A10 but I dont want to get ripped off who makes the one you have

  • Both Nitroplanes and Banana Hobby sell a 55mm twin A-10 BRUSHLESS version. They fly Great! Do NOT get the BRUSHED version. You'll be unhappy. If you get the Large 64mm Twin A-10, be super careful, the elevator is so sensitive, I've watched guys crash from it.

  • I am thinking about purchasing one of these but don't know if it is worth the money or if it is a rip off

and im looking for an honest opinion about it do you recommend it for beginners and by the way it is the brushed version was it a pain in the neck for you? because i DO NOT want to get ripped off again thank you-sd22 p.s nice video

  • Do Not get the Brushed Version. It is extremely hard to fly and most people I've talked to say they never get theirs off the ground because the motors are so weak. The Brushless version is only a few bucks more and it flys pretty well. If you are a Beginner pilot, do not Fly EDF first. EDF jets should be flown once you've mastered a few other planes, especially low wing 4channel prop planes. You will enjoy the Jet far more getting the feel of the plane, rather than learning to fly A plane.

  • I like the sound the brush makes. Was @ Lake Powell couple weeks ago and two buzzed the north end by BullFrog marina, it was sweet, two passes, loud as shit. I'll keep on figuring this out, thanks for the advise and expertize.

  • RCRedBaron, I figured it was a condition thing. Will a 11.1v 1300mah battery help this issue, or am I just adding weight? Love the plane, going brushless once im done crashin this one.

  • The 1300 is a fairly Light Batt, so you should have no problem. I used a 2200mah and it flew as you can see in this vid. On my new brushless version, I swapped out the motor mounts with 66mm mounts. I had to hog out the cowls to get them to fit, but they did. I used the stock brushless motors, but used the 3blade prop that came with my mounts. (the mounts are the ones that come with the Eflite Airliner that you can order separate from horizon hobby) They are amazing, and super quiet!!

  • 1st timer, took 6 hrs and alot of fiddle, holes on servos not big enough for rods, 5 min apox took 2hrs for engine mount, beautiful once finshed, 5 tries to get off ground w/ no resolve, appears battery is not strong enough, recommend the 1300, havent tried yet, shes a bitch, but I luv her, great starter set I guess, learnin 1 crash at a time - I now know y its a " HOBBY "

  • Did you get the Brushed or Brushless Version? The Brushed Version only flys under just the right conditions. Wind, runway, pilot and many other things. The Brushless Version is Awesome. Flys great.

  • Awsome i have the same thing but mine is from amax hobby but the thing is while i was assembeling it the thing what turns the front wheel broke and i dont no how to fix it do u have any ideas, and is it hard to control it cause i havnt had an chance to fly it yet

  • Which part? The plastic piece on the servo that connects to the metal steering rod? If so, you can take the plane to your hobby shop. They should carry all kinds of Servo Arms and if lucky, find one that fits. Or depending on how its broke, it might be repairable. More detail on the break and I'll see what I can think of.

  • what did you have to do for assembly

  • Not too much. It comes nearly assembled. Attach Wing, elevator, Vertical Stabs, Engine Nacelles, canopy and Wheels. Charge the battery, fly. Took about 30 minutes to assemble.

  • i just ored one is it fun to fly

  • Great flying, I would try and make the landing gear retractable!

  • Would be nice, but this plane would NEVER handle the retracts. Thanks for watching and commenting!

  • nice vid 5* thats 4 that vid cause im just starting 2 look 4 another plane and the A/10 is a nice one

  • you said the plane cost $95. is that with all the upgrades on the batteries?nice little plane enjoyed the video. looking to get one but hear alot of bad things that the plane willnot fly on the stock equipment, looks like your almost forced to upgrade and the radio has a very short range.whats your thaughts.thanks for your time

  • The Brushed version is very Difficult to fly, And it won't do rolls or loops. Inverted? No Way. If you go to Bananahobby website, they sell the BRUSHLESS version. Same Plane, only $129 Receiver Ready. Pop your own receiver in and you got a decent A-10 for only $129. It comes with a LIPO.

I wouldnt bother with the BRUSHED version., spend another $30 and get Brushless.

  • is your dads name peter?

  • NO. But, I have a brother named Chris, a sister named Meg and a dog named Brian!

  • max speed

  • well but your 1800 mah is not too heavy for the balance of the plane ???

  • No, I cut a small bit of the foam inside the compartment to slide the battery back into the main body just a bit to get CG right. But as you can see in the video, she flys great with it.

  • hinice plane i have mine to but never flow yet ...do you run it whit the stock bteries?? i put a 3s lipo 1300 mah in there ....i hope i have more power ..but nice flying

  • I run 3 cell 1800 and 2200 Mah Lipo batteries in mine. Your 1300mah should provide a lot more than the stock batts.

    Thanks for watching and commenting!

  • i have the acsakte same plane

you fly way better than me

    good vid

  • Thanks for watching and commenting! I Apprecite the kind words!

  • i think it has a cool sound

  • Even though she is underpowered, its a fun challenge to get her higher and higher. It really is fun, especially for $95.

    thanks for viewing and posting.

  • i was wondering about that one. seemed okay but i wasn't gonna spend the money

  • this plane sounds like crap, its horrible takes the coolness away and the music is cheesy

  • Where you expecting a $95 plane to sound like it has Turbines in it? Do you fly? Do you post Videos? As far as my music choice for this video, the words have meaning to the plane and its flight characteristics. But after reviewing your channel, I can see why your comment was poor and without thought.

  • well said, that guyu is an idiot...

im looking to buy the a 10 brushless 4 channel but im a starter so is it right for me? please get back to me. your answer would mean alot! thanks

  • When you say you're a starter, do you mean the first time flying a plane? or just the first time flying an EDF plane. If you have experience flying and can handle 4 channel planes, you'll love this A-10. Flys Great. But if you have no experience flying or even SIM time, you're going to frustrate yourself most likely from crashing. There are very few people who pick up a controller 1st time ever and suddenly can fly, Very Few.

  • first time flying EDF, so what would you recommend?

  • If you like the A-10, the brushless version flys really nice. Handles great for me. 2 others that are smooth in the air for 1st time EDF flyers are the Nitroplanes F-18 Hornet and the F-22 Falcon. The F-22 is probably the most stable of the EDF's in my opinion. It just floats if you want it to.

  • sorry for the ?s but would u recommend a Rtf sky trainer? it would be my first time flying one of those too.

  • Any high wing cub style is a great teacher plane. They float on the wings. Foam planes are much better too because the repair is sooo much simpler. To ask you a ?, what have you flown so far, it might help in directing you to your next upgrade plane.

  • a RTF F-15 and a jet scream (a plane i put together) the jetscream was electric ducted fan plane....but thats about it I'm only 13 so i can't try to much because i like to spend my money wisely, so theres not much else i can afford. ive always wanted to try a nitro plane.

  • If you flew the other planes really well, and had them mastered, you could do the A-10 Brushless twin 55mm EDF. Dont do the Twin 66 A-10 yet. It's very hard to handle. You'll probably handle the Sky Trainer better and have more successful flights, but only you can say how good and comfortable you are flying a fast EDF jet. Good news is that the 3 jets I mention are the most stable.

  • You're a TARD! If you didnt like the video why did you watch it? Change the Channel next time. You obviously dont know anything about music. You're right RedBaron, I checked his channel too....explains alot

  • good
