I hate how people have said you copied Harry Potter. It annoys me. In my opinion, your magic is more magical, your characters are more realistic. Your writing carries much more style, and the fact that you actually seem to care about your fans. Your writing is so perfect, in fact, that it is, like, textbook definition of how to write.

And in a sense, though I like his book very much, the whole "part of Baslyn's soul lives on inside of Bran" is very much like Horcruxes in Harry Potter. And how he stops the truck from hitting Rosie with his bare hand is kind of like Twilight (which I despise).

I considered asking my school's librarian to buy a copy, but I don't know if it's age-appropriate for high school, as it's a "children's" book. The budget cuts hit the library hard this year, and she's only buying books with GREAT reviews. So until the reviews start being published...

Personally, I believe a good book is a good book no matter what age it was written for. I happen to like children's and YA books more than adult books.
