man I absolutely love skymasters, and this one certainly seems like it can go x3 That is one crazy RoC! I'm curious though, do you know how much higher the maintenance costs/fuel flows are much higher on the TSIO-550's as opposed to the standard IO-360's? thanks for any info
I know that. My father owned a Skymaster. If you see the video, you can see that they didn't add power to the front engine on the takeoff run, or if they did, it had less than the rear engine. I always took off with full power on both engines. It seems this aircraft has so much power with the IO550s that it can takeoff on one engine. I was just pointing that out.

@roughsurface That is correct, but you lead on the rear engine first and then bring in the frnt engine.
