While smoking is bad, i believe what happens to you is more of the luck of the draw. My grandpa's been smoking unfiltered cigs since he was 14-15. He's 67 now and still works. No medical problems, and he even survived through having e-coli 2 years ago.

how can so many people be up in arms over 2nd hand smoke but none of them care that the whole world's fresh air (and water and land) supply is being poisoned by exxon and bp and monsanto and all the rest. Yeah, smokers gets upset easily by these facts. Well, you knew it all along that cigs cause these problems and even change the persons emotions, like getting angry easily thus leading them to smoke a cig to make them relax.
