I think the only reason this was a tie is because the race was more like a track race than a rally race....may be mistaking, but I never saw Kimi do any Gymkhana or participate at rally events.

Well... let's straighten some facts. Rally = extremely hard, F1 = extremely hard. They both have their own specific skills when it comes to a driving. Rally needs more focusing on what is coming ahead. F1 needs more focusing on finding exact (and i mean EXACT!!) lines, turn-ins, apexes etc. I still appreciate Kimi more because he is the pure race driver. Ken is more like a show off with a lot of money. Anyway they both are good. Notice that Kimi has much less rallying experience than Block does.

Almost nobody knows that F1 tires in order to work propesly should be at 110-125 celsius which means on an average speed of 200km/h or 125mp/h. The cars that Ken drive are based on ordinary Fords, but altered (in Sweden, im proud to say) for more money than the original car is worth. Different driving, but Kenny Bräck won the "Midnattsolrally" in Sweden whitout experience from rally. A good driver is a good driver.

Ken Block (and Tanner and Pastrana) is probably the best rallydrivers in USA.
I think that they do a great job at introducing rally overseas.
But rally is not easy to master.
Compared with european drivers (especialy nordic) they lack the culture of rally.
Rally is teamwork.
Finnish drivers have a "shut up and performe" attitude perfect for rally.
Would be nice to see a few good american rallydrivers in the world cup.
Maybe from the next generation.

u see a F1 car in order to start need to have sombody reving to 6000 and more RPM but synchronised because if not its like never letting the clutch so F1 will never start!
In order to drive an F1 means that u have to be able to have an average speed of 200kmh because if not tires are too cold to get a grip so cant handle the F1.still rally is more skillful than an F1? F1=Rally

@Zuomigundi Colin McRae was one of the biggest drivers to hit the stages, he was known for his flat out style same as Henri Toivonen in the 80's they were good drivers, not because they could win, but cause the confidence they had was so rare, and Yes Ken is overpayed, and over-rated, and is a worse driver then Kimi, but, Kimi is still a bad driver, he hasn't got confidence of a competitive driver, yes he keeps his car on the road, but F1 is his scene. by the way, Wales is in Britain
