  • Because of how well your video is, I was able to sport a fake Coach purse a girl in the grocery store was caring tonight. Fake bags are whack! Buy the real bag!!

  • You did a VERY good job! Thanks!

  • can't the manufacturer's use videos like this in china and make adjustments, such as shinier hardware, put no print on inside if outside has print, Capitol M sm 0 on creed, tuck in zipper, leather, not metal logo, etc... These are minor adjustments that can be made and if i had a factory in China, i'd use this to my advantage-- By the way thank you for pointing this out, cuz i realized that i bought a fake of craigslist. I just don't wan't the people making em to get all this info as well

  • FAKE: handbags-shoppings

  • hi! wonderful and informative video, thanks for making it (: also, i love your accent! haha (: I did want to let you know though, that sometimes...SOMETIMES coach DOES print their name on the hardware. the coach bag i had that was bought from the actual coach store, had it on there. so i know they DO print it on some of the bags. just wanted to let you know!! (:

  • Great video!

  • You did a really great job on your video! I wanted to tell you that while I was watching your video I could HEAR the difference in the hardware. Listen to the sound it makes when you were picking it up or putting it down, The real one does not make a sound. Watch your video and listen to the fake sound the hardware makes and the real one never did.

  • I like that you showed two of the same bags! That way its easier to tell the difference.

Awesome video! This was the only video I saw on youtube thats helped a lot!

    Thank you :)

  • Great video. Thank you so much! :-)

  • good video

  • i identified the fake one immediately. this really helped me because i am looking at coach bags on ebay because my friend got a great deal on one! Thanks(:

  • I'm going to be looking at these kind of videos. I bought two bags recently that look like Coach bags. I'm now having doubts about one of them. I'll be mad if it is a fake because I bought both bags each for dirt-cheap at a store that's similar to a consignment shop (the difference is that those selling items get paid on the spot for items the store will take, which isn't much because they're extremely picky about what they'll take).

  • @shyvicki If there is any way I can help you determine their authenticity, just let me know.

  • @pamnkidz After looking at a few other videos I'm sure one is fake because they look like G's instead of C's. Where the creed patch should be is just a blank black patch. As far as the other one goes, I'm not sure. Would even a small bag (12" W by 7" H) have the creed patch? This one doesn't but has the Coach logo just below the small inner pocket. This has no zippers so I can't look for the YKK lettering. If there was a way I could post pictures of the outside and inside I'd do that.

  • @shyvicki The first one you mention is definately fake and it sounds like the 2nd one is as well. All Coach bags have the creed, no matter the size, even the little wristlets.

  • @pamnkidz Fudge :( For both bags I'm out $28 but lesson learned. Will have to wait til next year's tax refund to get a real Coach bag. Thanks for your help and keep up the good work.

  • @shyvicki All coach purses do not have YKK on the zipper! I buy all of my coach from the outlet and none so far have YKK on it. I even called Coach to see and they said that not all of their zippers have something on them, but that they should feel like a high quality zipper!

  • I heard that if you look around the zipper it should say "YKK" is that also true?

  • @TONYNAVA213 True - they are top of the line zippers

  • Cool video

  • Wow great information about being able to distinguish the difference in the bags. I too though that the one with brass and the black zipper was a knockoff bag! Great vid

  • Very informative video but you forgot to mention two things one needs to look at to determine the real from the fake. First, the stitching on a fake is not even and bad quality whereas the real COACH is very well made. Next, look at the zipper of the real one for the initials XYY. I just wanted to add to your comments so people would not be taken advantage of :)

  • @ohio1969 You are so right, however it is YKK which I do mention in my other video. I left it off of this video, tho...so thank you for pointing that out. I mention the stitching the last couple of minutes. This was my 4th attempt at the video - I was about to give up...lol thanks for posting!

  • Very inforative video! I have a friend who is addicted to Coach, and she was told a few years ago that the knock-offs are sometimes made in sweat shops and with child labor. Now I can't be for sure, but even the chance of it being true is enough to make me take a closer look at any purse I purchase. You definately get what you pay for!

  • @mizzbrenners Thank you! I am glad to know that you got something out of it. It is true, some are made in sweat shops. That is true of many many brands. I think if we had any idea just how much we buy every single day that came from someone working in horrible conditions, we probably couldn't live with ourselves. We are so desensitized to a big part of the world.
