I think it's sad that the two Olympics that Germany had ever hosted were the darkest Olympic games ever hosted: this and the terrorist attack in Munich 72. I hope that one day they can host an Olympic Games again that Germany can look back on happily.

Fuck Hitler. I'm glad and proud of the 1936 US team for not dipping the United States flag to that asshole.
Even happier that the US team didn't even give the appearance of the Nazi salute by giving the Olympic salute like the French team did.

Sogar der Reporter spricht ja vom "Olympic salute" welcher "similar" zum "Hitler Salute" ist.
