I have been compared to Maurice After he got with John P Kee. Let me see,...That is an Awesome groove.......I must say to Rodney, Uncle gave you a run for your money..........But I think You got him with the jazz scales..........VERY GOOD!!!
No coincidence that most of the names he called as inspiration are mostly from Chicago...that's a hotbed for bassists...musicians in general but especially bass and keys...my cousin,Pastor Eric Thomas,played with Chicago Mass and Soul Children.
Even though I'm from the south,I spent a lot of time in Chitown and got a lot of my style from players there!
