Trying to Stop the European Southern Observatory (joining 40years after),Etc, Etc, Again and Again we could see large UK apposition to Europe UNTIL they could see Europe continue anyway and make a profit. I thought democracy was everyone can vote, everyone is equal before the law. This thing with everyone is born equal is utter nonsense. Jerzy Buzek is a joke as President of the EU Parliament. In every video he seems to have few English speaking skills, not to mention that he seems to lack authority.

In that way, I used to "prefer" Hans Pottering, as he was ruthless and partial with the sides of the debates. So, it's really good for Nigel that this Polish guy keeps the job as long as possible.

I am not the biggest fan of Tony Benn, because I am not a socialist and I do not agree with his political views. However, it is nice to see him promoting democracy (although I fail to see how this is compatible with his socialist instincts.)
