  • Love this! Got 2 bags last month.

  • Oh my gosh, MissChievous I NEVER comment on videos, but this review was so helpful!! I bought them without even watching the whole video first. There is a link on their website to purchase them on Amazon and they're extremely inexpensive. I bought 2 variety packs and it only cost me like $11 or something. Love your channel and your videos and thanks for reviewing these!!!

  • Is your cup from Ikea?

  • HaVE A question , what size of brush guard you used for the 217? Please help me !

  • so excited to get this!!

  • Comment removed

  • Mine do not dry fast enough with those guards on. Reason being it pushes all the brishels together packing them tight and air can't get into the stuff in the middle.

Works great for reshaping them once they are dry though. And I store mine with the guards on so they don't get frayed. Just wouldn't recommend drying them with the guards on.

  • I always wondered if the brushes would end up stinking from drying them so tight.

  • I just ordered it! i would like to know how long the shipping was???

  • can you buy an alternative to these at a retail stores?

  • they are really inexpensive and worth every penny.

  • Thanks so much. I'm really excited to try these out.

  • VERY CONVENIENT. So checking these out.

  • Would it make any difference if you used this after you used a cleanser on your brushes or is this only if you wash it with shampoo

  • thanks for this wonderful review... gonna be buying these!

  • This has been so helpful.

  • thanks for the review.

  • I dont use anything to guard my brushes. I only reshape them after washing and place them on the paper towel and leave them dry. And they keep their shape !!! Of course, I keep them in a roll

  • The smaller ones are sooo stretchy, I do all my eye brushes in them, nice forming to any blending brush.

  • They remind me of those Chinese finger trap things.

  • Another way I drip dry my brushes upside down is to I took the magnet strips with the adhesive backing and stuck them on a ruler and tacked it to my wall, then place them upside down. The magnetic strips are very cheap and can be found at wal-mart or any office supply store, and it's a great way to dry your brushes.

  • El cheapo replica is some bubble wrap.

  • I've been using bubble wrap for brush guards, and if I'm drying them, I wrap in tissue, then use my "el cheapo" brush guards, and voila! lol

  • I just got these, they make an amaazing differences in brush shape and density, very awesome. I will use them everytime I wash my brushes from now on.

  • How many times can you use each guard before you have to throw them out?

  • I can't imagine having to throw them out ever! lol Unless you rip one up by trying to stuff a too large brush in a smaller one or something

  • i love your makeup here

    tutorial?

  • you are hero! i am looking for a neat way to clean brushes for so long !! and finally , i find it from your video ,awesome!

    thank you!

  • FABULOUS!

I'm such a freak about my brushes.

  • valuable information (=

  • Hey Julia! I ordrered the variety pack and they actually asked me where did I hear about them. So I mentioned your video , and they think you're awesome :)

  • Thanks so much for recommending this! : )

  • awesome totally getting these! I hate watching my brushes splay out and I travel a bit with them :)

  • Awesome! Brush condoms! Haha no really i think its a good idea :) I might get some! x

  • do you not find that these fray? thanks! xoxo

  • coooooooooooool!!!1

  • i seen them yesterday but i wasnt if it relly wrkd

  • Thank so much for sharing!! Love your blouse!!

  • just ordered some today! do you know of anything i can use for dual-ended brushes? i was thinking i could just cut some of these in half and slide each half on each end. ????

  • Thank you very much for this video it is very informative!

  • hey those are cool! Great product!

    Thanks Julia!

    Blessed be,

    Jillywiccan )O(

  • oh.. and i luv ur top!

  • great product and great video :)

  • I seen EnKore's review of these last week and ordered some right away because they are so inexpensive. Thanks for the review for your subs who probably don't about them.

  • i think she looks nice with and without makeup both

  • Aw thanks, this was after a long day at work too!

  • OMG!! I saw EnKore's review of these a little while age, but after watching your review I clicked your link and ordered these right away! And the ARE inexpensive!

  • Omg, you were like really jittery at first.

  • Nice! Considering the cost of brushes, it's totally worth taking care of them!

  • du siehst toll aus - so strahlend :-)

  • you look beautiful

The brush Guard looks realy handy im gonne look for it tomorrow!

    Thanx girl

  • good idea, but i would make something similar rather than buying brush guard!

  • great idea about using them to dry upside down and keep their shape. I never thought of that! I might have to buy some of these now

  • ooooh how nifty! Thanks J :) x

  • Thank you!

  • You can make these "brush guards" yourself. I make my own out of regular writing paper for my bigger brushes to hold their shape. I can't use them while they're wet for obvious reasons, but I pop em in their paper sleeves as soon as theyre dry and they hold their shape just fine. But I'd still consider buying these brush guards.

  • Do you work in sales?! To be able to talk about these things for over six minutes takes some skill!

    Good review though.

  • I like to use the 2nd from the Largest for my 187 and the smallest for my 217. They fit just great and dry fantastically. The 217 works awesome when it's compacted so tightly!

  • wow i never noticed your tongue was pierced haha most people tend to play with their piercings a lot. anyway, this is a great vid.

  • or you can just lay your brushes down on a draw papertowel/towel to dry

  • That's what causes fraying though, which is exactly what this product prevents

  • Very helpful...thank you!!!!

  • this product is great!

  • they look like chinese finger traps :P

  • mesh sleeves??? =)

  • Great review, I've been looking for these guards forever,...

  • i ordered those last week and I love them and they are very inexpensive (no shipping cost with US too!)

  • its a cool idea but i think ive seen somthing like that in home depot, that is mesh and flex-y like that.... i think money can be saved if you find somthing like that in a hardware shop.

  • i have never heard of these before, but will definitely look into buying some. is there something you can recommend for double-ended brushes? i tend to use those more than regular brushes and would love to travel with them, but think it's unsanitary to just toss them into a cosmetic bag all together without anything to protect and keep the bristles clean. thanks in advance and thanks for a great review.

  • thats a part of her bangs

  • lol that's my hair from my head, not my eyebrow

  • julia plz do a nail tutorial i dont get so much time to go other websites so i watch you tube most of the time ,so plz take my request from here and do the nail tut ,i absultley love the way you do ur nails .

  • I don't understand people like you!! If you watch this channel most of the time surely you have noticed that she has ALREADY done a nail tutorial (which by the way was very helpful!) Seriously, do a bit of investigating before you do a request, if I was Julia I would despair!!

anyway.. I love this channel :D

  • why do people stick up for her like u know her? lol

  • well i think people who watch her payed attention to what she s saying more including myself ,what i notice other than what she says is ,is her beautiful hands and nails .

  • It just irks me that she is giving you all this information and has all the links in the side bar and you still ask idiotic questions.. like seriously

  • I love them.....they work so good....I use them daily =)

  • Cool I just purchased some! YAY

  • Thanks very helpful!

  • yeah it is cool if u watch encore he already mentioned it long time ago ,i didnt even know cause he also told some really cool ways to use these .u should check his videp out .well u ve mentioned it is really cool for travelers.

  • I have these and have had them for about 6 months and I love them! They are awesome. I am planning on ordering more because they are so useful. That tiny one will fit on a smaller eyeshadow brush. They really stretch A LOT. I use them even with my brush roll.

  • Neato thanks for sharing! Going to buy these as soon as possible. Thats a great brush saver.

  • those are life savers! i use tissue too, but i hate using that. did these take a long time to ship to you?

  • i think i my order arrived in about 2 days. i was impressed

  • Do they sell these at any store we know of? Besides the online link.

  • I just received my Brush Guards today. I can't wait to do a review on them. They're so amazing! SO SO SO AMAZING!

  • What a great idea! I should really get some to protect my poor brushes. I need to take better care of them. :S

  • this is a great suggestion to protect and dry the brushes :D thanks so much for this video!

  • Do you not recommend squeezing the water out after washing? I squeeze gently but every time I do, I wonder how good it is. I take great care of my brushes, yet my 129 and 116 shed terribly. I actually returned the 129 for that reason. Now the 116 is doing it too, though not as bad. Anyway, I might try the flick method. I want them to last...

  • thank you so much! i have to get those.

  • thnx

  • Oh wow! Neat! I don't have expensive brushes but I'll be ordering these to hopefully help my cheap brushes hold their shape. Thanks for the review!

  • omg thats soo cool, i never knew there were products like that out there! thanks for the tip!!

  • I never thought about drying brushes upside down like that... that seems like the "healthiest" way to dry your brushes. Neat product, thanks!

  • i have them and absolutely love them!!!

  • thats cool! Ive been wanting something like this for a while now. I usually use the plastic that comes with the brushes but this has holes so thats great!

    thanks!

  • I think even if you had a brush roll, when I had mine in one, specially the larger face brushes, the bristles would still get bent out of shape. So I think it would be worth it to put these on the brushes even when you have a brush roll.

  • I've seen this on Koren's youtube page but haven't ordered them yet! I really should :) and now they come in 5 package choices which is great!

  • These actually take forever to dry the brushes!

  • thats amazinggggg

  • COOL!..

  • I just got some today.. they are cool and cheap!

  • Thanks for this tip.

  • Gosh I love that shirt you have on!

  • When i got my dior backstage makeup brushes, they actually came with these. Apart from they are plastic, but i agree, they are great for keeping the shape and keeping them clean!

  • im def ganna pick these up!

  • Thank you so much for posting this video! I was wondering where to get these and this helped so much!

  • I love how tend to say "mkay" so often, hehe..

  • I normally hate gadgets like this but those are pretty useful

    x

  • Such a good idea! Thanks for showing us this.

  • you could also do it 2 change the size of ur brush

  • that was a very nice top and you looked very sweet in that. Thanks for the vid...I will check this product out...I think Enkore or Pursebuzz made a video on this some time back but thanks neway!

  • Ahhh Those are pretty cool! Thanks for the vid!! :-D

  • This is amazing!! Thank you so much!
